Claims (13)
- クライアント装置によるコンテンツ配信のための方法であって、
MPD(media presentation description)ファイル及び一つ以上の動的適応型ハイパーテキスト転送プロトコル(HTTP)ストリーミング(DASH)セグメントを受信するステップと、
前記MPDファイル内の情報を用いて、前記一つ以上のDASHセグメントをフィルタするステップと、
フィルタされた一つ以上のDASHセグメントを、セグメントバッファに格納するステップと、
前記情報に基づいて、前記セグメントバッファから一つ以上の特定のDASHセグメントを要請するステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記情報は、関連URL(uniform resource locator)情報を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フィルタされた一つ以上のDASHセグメント及び前記関連URL情報は、共に前記セグメントバッファに格納される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- HTTPを用いることなく、マルチメディア多重化転送プロトコル(MMTP)を通じて、前記一つ以上のDASHセグメントを受信するためのサービスに調整するステップをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記クライアント装置は、HTTPキャッシュのない前記セグメントバッファを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記一つ以上のDASHセグメントは、再構成されたDASHセグメントを含み、前記再構成されたDASHセグメントは、再構成の直後、前記セグメントバッファに格納される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記再構成されたDASHセグメントは、多くの再現(representations)を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記多くの再現の各々は、異なるデータレート及び異なるレベルのビデオ品質のうち、一つ以上を含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 所望のレベルのビデオ品質を有する特定の再現のために要求されるDASHセグメントが、前記セグメントバッファの内で見付けられなければ、前記URLを変更し、次の低いレベルのビデオ品質を有する前記要求されたDASHセグメントのもう一つの再現について検索する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記関連URL情報が、前記セグメントバッファで、前記一つ以上の特定のDASHセグメントを検索するためのインデックスとして用いられる、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記クライアント装置は、スマートテレビジョンデバイス及びモバイルコンピューティング装置のうちの一つを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- コンテンツ配信のためのクライアント装置であって、前記クライアント装置は、請求項1から請求項11に記載の方法のうち、少なくとも一つを行うように構成されているクライアント装置。
- コンピュータ上で実行されるとき、請求項1から請求項11に記載の方法のうちの少なくとも一つを行う命令語を備えている非一時的コンピュータ読み取り可能な媒体。
