Abstract
Description
即ち、機関車では、各輪軸は基本的に同じ起動力で駆動されることから、3つの輪軸の各軸重が均一でない場合には、軸重の小さい輪軸ではレールに対する粘着力が低いことから空転が発生する。この空転の発生により、機関車の牽引力の低下、並びに車輪踏面及びレール表面に損傷を来す場合があるという問題が生じる。
また、中間輪軸における軸箱と、両端の各輪軸における各軸箱との間に、釣合い梁をそれぞれ設けるという手法も存在する。
即ち、本発明の一態様における鉄道車両用台車は、1台車の台車枠に少なくとも3つの輪軸を有し、各輪軸では軸箱が軸ばねを介して台車枠に支持され、両端に位置するそれぞれの輪軸における両端軸ばねのばね定数を、両端以外の輪軸の軸ばねである中間軸ばねのばね定数よりも大きく設定したことを特徴とする。
この調整について、図1及び図2を参照して以下に説明する。
本実施形態では、3つの輪軸の中間に位置する輪軸122における軸ばね116bのばね定数k1に比べて、3つの輪軸の両端に位置する各輪軸121,123における軸ばね116a,116cのばね定数k2を大きく設定している。尚、以下では、各輪軸121,123における軸ばね116a,116cを両端軸ばね116a,116cと記し、輪軸122における軸ばね116bを中間軸ばね116bと記す場合がある。
図2は、図1のモデルに対応した荷重分布図である。ここで、3fは、台車101の負担荷重であり、台車枠110の自重を含む。R1は、両端に位置する各輪軸121,123における両端軸ばね116a,116cに作用する荷重であり、R1と軸重等のバネ下荷重からなる荷重は、各輪軸121,123における各軸重である。R2は、中間に位置する輪軸122における中間軸ばね116bに作用する荷重であり、k1は、輪軸122における中間軸ばね116bのばね定数である。k2は、各輪軸121,123における両端軸ばね116a,116cのばね定数である。
ここで、台車枠110はその側梁で単純化し、車体荷重はこの側梁の中央に、つまり中間に位置する輪軸122の上方に作用するものとする。このとき、側梁は撓み量δにて撓む。また、側梁における車体荷重支持点に対するそれぞれの両端軸ばね116a,116cの位置における側梁の撓みのばね定数、つまりばね作用を有する側梁におけるばね定数をktとする。
他の言い方をすれば、両端の輪軸121,123における両端軸ばね116a,116cの各ばね定数と、中間の輪軸122における中間軸ばね116bのばね定数との差は、台車枠110が有するばね剛性に応じて設定される、より詳しくは下記の条件[1]によれば、台車枠110のばね剛性が減少すると差は指数的に増加する。
1/k1=1/k2+1/kt よって、
k2=1/((1/k1)−(1/kt)) …[1]
この関係を満たせばよい。
その結果、各輪軸121〜123を同じ起動力で駆動した場合でも、輪軸で空転が発生することはなくなる。したがって、機関車等において牽引性能が低下することはなく、また空転による、車輪踏面及びレール表面の損傷を防止することも可能となる。

Claims (3)
- 1台車の台車枠に少なくとも3つの輪軸を有し、各輪軸では軸箱が軸ばねを介して台車枠に支持された鉄道車両用台車であって、
両端に位置するそれぞれの輪軸における両端軸ばねのばね定数を、両端以外の輪軸の軸ばねである中間軸ばねのばね定数よりも大きく設定した、
ことを特徴とする鉄道車両用台車。 - 上記両端軸ばねのばね定数と上記中間軸ばねのばね定数との差は、上記台車枠が有する車体荷重に対するばね作用によるばね定数に応じて設定する、請求項1に記載の鉄道車両用台車。
- 上記中間軸ばねのばね定数をk1、上記両端軸ばねのばね定数をk2、車体荷重による上記台車枠のばね作用によるばね定数をktとしたとき、
k2=1/((1/k1)−(1/kt))
の関係を有する、請求項1に記載の鉄道車両用台車。
