Abstract
Description

Claims (14)
- 予め加圧された噴霧用流体を供給する予圧流体供給源と、
第1端部及び前記第1端部とは反対側の第2端部を有する調量シリンダと、
第1状態において、前記調量シリンダの前記第1端部の近傍に前記予圧流体供給源を連通させ、第2状態において、前記調量シリンダの前記第2端部の近傍に前記予圧流体供給源を連通させるバルブ付流入路と、
バルブ付流出路を介して前記調量シリンダと連通する噴霧器と、
前記調量シリンダ内に配設され、前記調量シリンダの前記第1端部の方に向く第1端面と、前記調量シリンダの前記第2端部の方に向く第2端面とを有し、前記第1端面と前記第2端面とが等しい作用面積を有する複動型往復動プランジャと
を備えることを特徴とするスプレーシステム。 - 前記複動型往復動プランジャは、前記調量シリンダ内における前記複動型往復動プランジャの位置にかかわらず、前記調量シリンダの全長にわたり延設された移動ロッドに固定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスプレーシステム。
- 前記移動ロッドは、
前記複動型往復動プランジャの前記第1端面から、前記調量シリンダの前記第1端部にある軸受を通って延設されてモータに連結された第1部分と、
前記複動型往復動プランジャの前記第2端面から、前記調量シリンダの前記第2端部にある軸受を通ってロッド用リザーバの内部まで延設された第2部分とを備える
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のスプレーシステム。 - 前記予圧流体供給源の圧力は、前記噴霧器における噴霧用流体の吐出圧力の少なくとも50%を占めることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスプレーシステム。
- 前記予圧流体供給源の圧力は、前記噴霧器における噴霧用流体の吐出圧力の80%以下を占めることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のスプレーシステム。
- 前記第1端面は、第1Uパッキンと第1スペーサによって形成され、
前記第2端面は、第2Uパッキンと第2スペーサによって形成される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスプレーシステム。 - 前記第1スペーサと前記第2スペーサとは軸線方向の長さが異なることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のスプレーシステム。
- 前記第1Uパッキンと前記第2Uパッキンとは、支承部によって隔てられていることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のスプレーシステム。
- 調量シリンダ軸線に沿って配設された調量シリンダと、
前記調量シリンダの軸線方向の第1端部の近傍に配設され、前記調量シリンダの内部に連通する第1流入口及び第1流出口と、
前記第1端部とは軸線方向で反対側となる前記調量シリンダの第2端部に配設され、前記調量シリンダの内部に連通する第2流入口及び第2流出口と、
前記調量シリンダ軸線に沿って延設され、直線運動モータにより往復駆動される移動ロッドと、
前記移動ロッドに固定され、前記調量シリンダの内周面に周方向全周にわたって接するプランジャとを備え、
前記プランジャは、前記調量シリンダの前記第1端部の側にある第1シール及び第1スペーサと、前記調量シリンダの前記第2端部の側にある第2シール及び第2スペーサとを備え、
前記第1スペーサは、前記移動ロッドが最も上方の位置にあるとき、前記第1流入口と前記第1流出口との間の流動を完全には遮断することなく、前記第1流入口と前記第1流出口との間に前記第1流入口及び前記第1流出口を覆うように位置して前記第1端部に向けて軸線方向に延び、
前記第2スペーサは、前記移動ロッドが最も下方の位置にあるとき、前記第2流入口と前記第2流出口との間の流動を完全には遮断することなく、前記第2流入口と前記第2流出口との間に前記第2流入口及び前記第2流出口を覆うように位置して前記第2端部に向けて軸線方向に延びる
ことを特徴とするポンプシステム。 - 前記第1スペーサは、前記第1シールから前記調量シリンダの前記第1端部に向けて軸線方向に延び、
前記第2スペーサは、前記第2シールから前記調量シリンダの前記第2端部に向けて軸線方向に延びる
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のポンプシステム。 - 前記第1シールは、前記第1端部に対向して配設されたUパッキンであり、
前記第2シールは、前記第2端部に対向して配設されたUパッキンである
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のポンプシステム。 - 前記第1シールの前記Uパッキンと、前記第2シールの前記Uパッキンとは、支承部によって隔てられていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のポンプシステム。
- 前記第1スペーサと前記第2スペーサとは軸線方向の長さが異なることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のポンプシステム。
- 前記第1スペーサは、前記プランジャと前記調量シリンダの前記第1端部との間に、少なくとも0.05インチ(1.27mm)の間隙からなる最小流路を形成し、
前記第2スペーサは、前記プランジャと前記調量シリンダの前記第2端部との間に、少なくとも0.05インチ(1.27mm)の間隙からなる最小流路を形成する
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載のポンプシステム。
