Claims (23)
- 安全捕捉装置を備えたフーバー針組立体であって、
本体部と、
前記本体部から遠位に延在する針と、
前記針及び前記本体部に対して固定された少なくとも1つのハンドルと、
遠位端部と近位端部とを有する可動アームであって、前記本体部に対して旋回可能である可動アームと、
前記可動アームの遠位端部に存在する捕捉フードであって、該捕捉フードの長手方向軸の周りに大体円筒形である捕捉フードと、
を有し、
前記捕捉フードは、
前記長手方向軸の周りの外周側壁部であって、前記長手方向軸に対して外面と内面とを有する外周側壁部と、
開口近位端部と、
前記外周側壁部を通じたスロットであって、前記側壁部の外面と内面との間の前記側壁部の厚さによって規定される深さを有し、2つの側面を有し、各側面が前記側壁部の外面と内面との間の前記側壁部の厚さによって規定される深さに沿う縁部によって特徴づけられ、前記外周側壁部によって一部が規定された前記捕捉フードの内部円筒形チャンバへのアクセスを付与し、前記捕捉フードの開口近位端部まで前記捕捉フードの長さの少なくとも一部に亘って長手方向に延在し、少なくとも一部が前記針の外径より小さい幅を有するスロットと、によってさらに規定される、
フーバー針組立体。 - 前記スロットの側面の少なくとも一部は、前記外周側壁部の外面に隣接した前記スロットの少なくとも一部の幅が前記外周側壁部の内面に隣接した前記スロットの少なくとも一部の幅より大きいようにテーパ状にされている、
請求項1に記載のフーバー針組立体。 - 前記外周側壁部の外面に隣接した前記スロットの少なくとも一部の幅は、前記針の外径より大きく、前記外周側壁部の内面に隣接した前記スロットの少なくとも一部の幅は、前記針の外径より小さい、
請求項2に記載のフーバー針組立体。 - 前記外周側壁部の外面に隣接した前記スロットの少なくとも一部の幅は、0.035〜0.037インチの間であり、前記外周側壁部の内面に隣接した前記スロットの少なくとも一部の幅は、0.032〜0.035インチの間であり、前記針の外径は、0.035インチである、
請求項3に記載のフーバー針組立体。 - 前記捕捉フードの遠位端部は閉塞されている、
請求項1に記載のフーバー針組立体。 - 前記捕捉フードは、該捕捉フードの遠位端部の少なくとも一部に亘ってテーパ状にされ、前記外周側壁部の外面及び内面の直径は、前記針の先端部を密接に収容するように小さくされている、
請求項1に記載のフーバー針組立体。 - 前記捕捉フードは、該捕捉フードの近位端部から、前記組立体が使用後安全捕捉位置にあるときに前記針の先端部に大体隣接した位置まで続く円筒形であり、前記捕捉フードはそれから、該捕捉フードの遠位端部までテーパ状にされている、
請求項1に記載のフーバー針組立体。 - 前記捕捉フードは、該捕捉フードの近位端部から、前記組立体が使用後安全捕捉位置にあるときに前記針の遠位端部にある曲げ部に大体隣接した位置まで続く円筒形であり、前記捕捉フードはそれから、該捕捉フードの遠位端部までテーパ状にされ、前記外周側壁部の外面及び内面の直径は、前記針の先端部を密接に収容するように小さくされている、
請求項1に記載のフーバー針組立体。 - 前記可動アームは、該可動アームの近位端部にヒンジを含み、該ヒンジは、前記本体部に対して前記可動アームの旋回性を付与する、
請求項1に記載のフーバー針組立体。 - 前記本体部は、エルボとして規定され、前記エルボは、該エルボのくぼみにおいて前記可動アームに移動可能に取り付けられる、
