積層界面に冷媒流路が形成されるように地面から垂直方向に積層された2つ以上の単位モジュールを含んでおり、冷媒流路を提供できるように互いに離隔した状態で側面方向に配列されている2つ以上のサブモジュールと、
前記サブモジュールを内部に収納して固定し、冷媒が内部に流入する冷媒流入口及び冷媒が外部に排出される冷媒排出口が形成されているモジュールケースと、
を含んでおり、
前記冷媒流路は、その垂直断面積が冷媒排出口側へ減少する構造からなることを特徴とする、電池モジュールアセンブリ。 - 前記単位セルは、板状型電池セルであるか、又は電極端子が露出した状態で2つ以上の板状型電池セルがセルカバーに装着されている電池セルアセンブリであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記電池セルは、角形二次電池又はパウチ型二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記パウチ型二次電池は、樹脂層と金属層を含むラミネートシートに電極組立体が密封されている構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記セルカバーは、電極端子部位を除いて電池セルの外面を包むように互いに結合される一対の外装部材であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記単位モジュールにおける単位セルは並列接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記単位セルは、電極端子が対面するようにカートリッジ上に装着されており、前記カートリッジに装着されているバスバーによって電極端子が並列に接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- それぞれのカートリッジには、電極端子が互いに対面しながら2つの単位セルが装着されており、前記カートリッジは、相対的に冷媒排出口に近い第1単位セルが装着される第1装着部、相対的に冷媒排出口から離れている第2単位セルが装着される第2装着部、及び前記第1装着部と第2装着部との間に位置し、バスバーが装着されている接続部を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 互いに異なるサブアセンブリ上に位置するカートリッジにおいて、第1装着部間の離隔距離は、第2装着部間の離隔距離よりも小さいことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記第1装着部間の離隔距離は、第2装着部間の離隔距離の20〜500%の大きさであることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記カートリッジの両側面には、締結溝を備えた突出部が形成されており、前記締結溝を貫通する締結部材によってカートリッジが互いに結合されてサブモジュールを形成していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記サブモジュールにおける単位モジュールは直列接続されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記バスバーは、電極端子が結合されている面の一側端部が上向き又は下向きに折れ曲がっており、前記折れ曲がった一側端部と直列接続部材が結合されて、隣接する単位モジュールと直列接続をなしていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記冷媒流路を基準として冷媒排出口に垂直な位置においてモジュールケース上に2つ以上の冷媒流入口が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記冷媒流入口は、冷媒流路を基準としてモジュールケースの対向部位に対称的に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 前記電池モジュールアセンブリの冷媒排出口の位置に送風機又は排出ダクトが装着されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリ。
- 請求項1に記載の電池モジュールアセンブリを電源として含むことを特徴とする、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車、電力貯蔵装置、非常用電源装置、電算室電源装置、携帯用電源装置、医療設備電源装置、消火設備電源装置、警報設備電源装置、又は避難設備電源装置であることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載のデバイス。
