[Zn(O2C−R)2]x・[ZnO]y・[H2O]z

xは1であり、yは0.03以上、26.0以下であり、zは0.00を超え、17.0以下である。)
の使用を含む。
A)カルボン酸:HO2C−R(式中、Rが非置換または置換された芳香族、シクロ脂肪族、直鎖脂肪族、または他の有機残部である。)および塩基を含んでなる水溶液を準備し、
B)溶解した亜鉛塩を含んでなる水溶液を準備し、
C)工程A)および工程B)の溶液を組み合わせて、所望により追加の水を加える、
工程を含んでなる。

Rは非置換または置換された芳香族、シクロ脂肪族、直鎖脂肪族、または他の有機残部であり、
xは1であり、yは0.03以上、26.0以下であり、zは0.00を超え、17.0以下である。)
の化合物を含む。
蒸留水(100mL)中の4−メトキシ安息香酸(7.66g、99%、49.8mmol)および炭酸水素ナトリウム(6.45g、76.8mmol)の混合物を、全ての固体が溶解するまで加熱した。蒸留水(80mL)中の硫酸亜鉛七水和物(7.27g、99%、25.0mmol)の溶液を調製した。最初の溶液を2番目の溶液に加え、その間、最初の溶液は50℃、2番目の溶液は室温であった。白色の化合物がすぐに沈殿し、濃い懸濁液を形成した。蒸留水(室温、100mL)を加え、その混合物を1.5時間放置し、その間、時々穏やかに振盪した。沈殿物が反応フラスコの底に沈殿した後、前記反応液に後処理を行った。

以下に示される触媒作用の結果は、4つの異なる触媒バッチを用いた一連の反応および触媒バッチ当たり最低限2つの反応に基づいている。各反応を2連または3連で分析した。

2,4−TDAのメトキシカルボニル化の動態学的プロファイルを、t=15、30、40、45、50、60、90、135、180、および240分で停止された一連の独立反応に基づいて、作成した。
