Claims (20)
- 生体内における少なくとも1つの生理学的又はその他の変数を血管内で測定するためのセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤであって、
近位領域と、遠位センサ領域と、先端領域と、
前記変数を測定し、前記変数に応じたセンサ信号を生成するように構成されたセンサ部を備え、前記センサ領域に配置された少なくとも1つのセンサ素子と、
前記センサ・ガイド・ワイヤの前記先端領域の少なくとも一部に沿って延び、一定の長さを有する先端コア部を備えるコアと、を備え、
前記先端コア部の少なくとも一部は、変態温度を有する形状記憶材料からなり、
前記形状記憶材料の組成は、前記形状記憶材料の変態温度が生体の体温よりも高くなるように構成されたことを特徴とするセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。 - 前記先端コア部の全長の少なくとも25%が、前記形状記憶材料からなる請求項1に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記先端コア部の全長の少なくとも50%が、前記形状記憶材料からなる請求項1に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記先端コア部の残り部分は、弾性材料からなる請求項1に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記形状記憶材料は、前記弾性材料に対し遠位側に配置される請求項4に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記形状記憶材料は、前記弾性材料の少なくとも遠位部上に外層として配置される請求項4に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記弾性材料は、ステンレス鋼である請求項4に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記弾性材料は、超弾性又は線形弾性ニチノールである請求項4に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記形状記憶材料は、ニチノールである請求項1に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記ニチノールの組成は、オーステナイト開始温度が少なくとも40℃であるように構成された請求項9に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記形状記憶材料は、形状記憶ポリマである請求項1に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記形状記憶材料の組成は、変態温度が40℃〜70℃の範囲内となるように構成された請求項1に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記先端コア部は、コアの残り部分と一体である請求項1に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記先端コア部は、コアの残り部分から分離されており、接着剤、溶接、半田付け、機械的接続又はスエージングのうち少なくとも1つによりジャケットに取り付けられた請求項1に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記コアの残り部分は、ニチノールからなる請求項14に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 前記先端コア部は、接着剤、溶接、半田付け、機械的接続、スエージングのうち少なくとも1つによりコアの残り部分に取り付けられた請求項1に記載のセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤ。
- 生体内における少なくとも1つの生理学的又はその他の変数を血管内で測定するためのセンサ・ガイド・ワイヤの先端領域の形状を形成及び再形成する方法であって、
形状形成前に初期形状を有し、変態温度が生体の体温よりも高い形状記憶材料から少なくとも部分的になる先端コア部を備えた前記先端領域の形状を、手作業又は適切な工具を用いて形成することと、
前記先端領域を前記変態温度よりも高温に加熱して前記先端領域を初期形状に戻すことと、を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記先端領域を初期形状に戻した後、前記変態温度を下回るまで前記先端領域を冷ます又は前記先端領域を能動的に冷却することと、
手作業又は適切な工具により前記先端領域を所望の形状に湾曲させることと、を更に含む請求項17に記載の方法。 - 生体内に前記センサ・ガイド・ワイヤを挿入し、血管内測定を行なった後、身体から抜くことを更に含む請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記先端領域の形状形成工程は室温で行われ、前記先端領域を加熱又は冷却する必要がない請求項17に記載の方法。
