Abstract
Description
図1を参照すれば、エンジン10は、排気系統と接続し、燃焼後各気筒ごとに発生する排気ガスを単一の経路に合流させて大気中に排出するための排気経路12を備える。熱交換器14は、排気ガスによる廃熱を利用して前記エンジン10の冷却水と前記エンジン10および/または変速機(図示せず)のオイルとの独立した熱交換のために、前記排気経路12中に設けられる。すなわち、前記熱交換器14は、前記排気経路12を通して排出される排気ガスの持つ高温の廃熱を回収する機能を果たす。

Claims (13)
- エンジンの排気経路中に設けられ、冷却水熱交換回路とオイル熱交換回路に接続する熱交換器と、
前記排気経路中で前記熱交換器を迂回するように接続されるバイパス経路と、
前記排気経路から分岐されて前記エンジンの吸気系統と接続する再循環経路と、
前記排気経路と前記バイパス経路との間で排気ガスの流動経路を調節する第1調節バルブと、
前記排気経路と前記再循環経路との間で排気ガスの流動経路を調節する第2調節バルブと、
前記バイパス経路と前記再循環経路との間で排気ガスの流動経路を調節する第3調節バルブとを備えることを特徴とする自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。 - 前記排気経路は、
前記エンジンから前記熱交換器に至るように配置される流入経路と、
前記熱交換器からテールパイプに至るように配置される流出経路とからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。 - 前記バイパス経路は、前記流入経路から前記流出経路に至るように分岐接続されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。
- 前記第1調節バルブは、前記流入経路と前記バイパス経路との間の分岐地点に設けられ、前記第2調節バルブは、前記流出経路と前記再循環経路との間の分岐地点に設けられることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。
- 前記再循環経路は、
前記流出経路から分岐接続されるメイン再循環経路と、
前記バイパス経路から前記メイン再循環経路に至るように分岐接続されるサブ再循環経路とからなることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。 - 前記第2調節バルブは、前記流出経路と前記メイン再循環経路との間の分岐地点に設けられることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。
- 前記第3調節バルブは、前記バイパス経路と前記サブ再循環経路との間の分岐地点に設けられることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。
- 前記熱交換器は、
排気ガスの流入と流出のための排気接続部と、
冷却水の流入と流出のための冷却水接続部と、
オイルの流入と流出のためのオイル接続部とを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。 - 前記熱交換器は、
前記冷却水熱交換回路と接続する第1コアユニットと、
前記オイル熱交換回路と接続する第2コアユニットとを備えることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。 - 前記第1コアユニットと前記第2コアユニットはそれぞれ、同心円状に内/外側に配置されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。
- 前記排気接続部は、前記第1コアユニットの底面部に形成されながら、周縁部位にフランジを具備したエンドキャップによって仕上げられ、
前記冷却水接続部は、前記第2コアユニットの外側部位で左/右両端部に設けられ、
前記オイル接続部は、前記第2コアユニットに対して前記冷却水接続部からそれぞれ離隔した部位に設けられることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。 - 前記第1コアユニットと前記第2コアユニットはそれぞれ、上下方向で層状に配置されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。
- 前記排気接続部は、前記第1コアユニットの左/右両端部に形成されながら、エンドキャップによって仕上げられ、
前記冷却水接続部は、前記第1コアユニットの下部と前記第2コアユニットの上部にそれぞれ設けられ、
前記オイル接続部は、前記第2コアユニットに対してそれぞれ離隔した部位に設けられることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の自動車の統合機能型熱交換装置。
