Abstract
Description
a)シリコーン樹脂;および、
b)シリコーンゴム、
50℃以上の軟化点および106Pa以下の環境温度における弾性率を有する、樹脂(a)およびゴム(b)の混合物
を含む組成物を提供する。
a.軟化点および弾性率
樹脂(a)のゴム(b)に対する重量比が異なる、樹脂(a)とゴム(b)の混合物をシクロジメチコン溶媒D5に溶解し、アルミニウム平鍋におき、そしてD5が完全に蒸発するまで90℃で乾燥した。弾性率(G’)および貯蔵弾性率(G’’)を、TA Instrument(ニューキャッスル、デラウェア州)製の動的粘弾性測定装置(Dynamic Mechanical Analysis)を用いて、約1Hzの振動数で、−150℃〜150℃の範囲の温度の関数として測定した。最大のtanデルタ(G’’/G’比)が観測された時の温度を軟化点と定義した。この方法は、シリコーン感圧接着剤を特性づけるための確立した方法である。
60ミクロンのフィルムは、アルミニウム製鍋で、樹脂(a)とゴム(b)の混合物を溶媒D5中で乾燥させることによって、作製された。D5を蒸発させた後、最大タック力を、Stable Micro Systems社製のテクスチャーアナライザー(Texture Analyzer)(サリー、U.K.)を用いて100gの負荷および接触時間1秒で測定した。50gを超えない高さのフィルムタック(film tack)を示すヘアケア製品は、一般的に、この点で好ましく良い性能を示すと考えられる。
髪の光沢は、株式会社 村上色彩技術研究所製(Murakami)GoniophotoMeter(東京、日本)を用いて、30°の入射角で測定した。ツヤ因子は、全反射率および式Fg=(Lmax−D)/D(式中、Lmaxは、最大反射率であり、そしてDは、視野角0°で得られた反射率(拡散反射率)である)を用いて得られた。髪の光沢は、ツヤ因子が1.6より高い場合に顕著に増加したと考えられる。
繊維の凝集は、顕著な毛束量の減少を生じた。量の減少は、毛髪毛束を90%相対湿度室で1時間保管した後、画像解析によって測定した。毛束量は、毛束面積(A)の画素数を数えることによって測定された。量の減少因子は、式Rv=100*(Ao−A)/(Ao−Amin)(式中、Aoは、未処理の毛束面積(非常に縮れた毛束)の値であり、そしてAminは、最小の毛束面積(アイロンをかけた毛束))を用いて得られた。量の減少が過剰であれば(Rv>70%)、髪は凝集して見えるであろう。量の減少が少なすぎれば(Rv<30%)、髪は縮れて見えるであろう。40%〜60%の間の量の減少では、処理した毛束は、縮れて見えず、そして毛髪繊維は凝集せず、そのため髪は自由になびであろう。
髪の摩擦係数μは、ピンと張った平らな毛束で、フラットステンレス鋼プローブを持つCSMトライボメーター(ニーダム、マサチューセッツ)に基づいて測定された。髪は、μ<0.12である場合になめらかであると考えられた。
本質的にカチオン性界面活性剤を含まないということは、シリコーン樹脂(a)とシリコーンゴム(b)の混合物を含むヘアケア製品の必須要件である。この要件は、以下の表2に示す比較によって証明される。
以下の表3は、本発明のヘアケア製品の構成に好適なO/Wエマルジョンの組成物を示す。本発明よると、例示した各組成物は、シリコーン樹脂(a)とシリコーンゴム(b)の混合物を含み、そしてカチオン性界面活性剤を含まない。
以下の表4は、本発明のヘアケア製品の構成に好適なWOエマルジョンの組成物を示す。
表5は、本発明のリップグロス製品の組成を示す。
Claims (20)
- a)シリコーン樹脂;および
b)シリコーンゴム
を含み、
シリコーン樹脂(a)とシリコーンゴム(b)の混合物が、50℃を超える軟化点および106Pa以下の環境温度における弾性率を有する、組成物。 - シリコーン樹脂(a)が、一つまたは複数の式R1 3SiO1/3のM単位、および式R2 2SiO2/2のD単位、式R3SiO3/2のT単位および式SiO4/2のQ単位、およびそれらの混合物の中から選択される一つまたは複数の更なる単位を含有し、式中、R1、R2およびR3の各々が独立してヒドロキシルラジカルまたは一価の炭化水素ラジカルであり、そしてシリコーンゴム(b)が25℃で300〜200,000,000センチポワズ(300〜200,000,000mPa・s)の粘度を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- シリコーンゴム(b)が、一つまたは複数の式R4 3SiO1/2のM’単位、および式R5 2SiO2/2のD’単位、式R6SiO3/2のT’単位および式SiO4/2のQ’単位、およびそれらの混合物の中から選択される一つまたは複数の更なる単位を含有し、式中、R4、R5およびR6の各々が独立してヒドロキシルラジカルまたは一価の炭化水素ラジカルである、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- シリコーン樹脂(a)が、30%以上のT単位を含み、残余があるならば一つまたは複数のQ単位、D単位、フッ素化基またはそれらの混合物から構成される、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- シリコーン樹脂(a)が、MT樹脂、フッ素化MT樹脂、MT樹脂と少なくとも一つの他のシリコーン樹脂との混合物、およびフッ素化シリコーン樹脂の少なくとも一つであり、そしてシリコーンゴム(b)が、ジメチコノールゴム、ジメチコンゴムおよびポリジメチルシリコーンゴムの少なくとも一つである、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- シリコーン樹脂(a)のシリコーンゴム(b)に対する重量比が、0.4〜6である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 本質的にカチオン性界面活性剤を含まない、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- シリコーン樹脂(a)とシリコーンゴム(b)の混合物が、非架橋型である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- シリコーン樹脂(a)とシリコーンゴム(b)の混合物が、非架橋型である、請求項7に記載の組成物。
- シリコーン樹脂(a)とシリコーンゴム(b)の混合物用の揮発性有機溶媒を更に含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- a)シリコーン樹脂;
b)シリコーンゴム;および
c)シリコーン樹脂(a)とシリコーンゴム(b)の混合物用の揮発性有機溶媒
を含み、
