Abstract
【解決手段】内輪10と外輪20との間の軌道空間29に複数のころ30が組み込まれ、軌道空間29の軸方向両端の開口291がシール部材60で密封され、シール部材60の軸方向外側に金属シールド部材70が配設された構成を有する。シール部材60の外周縁部61を金属シールド部材70と外輪20とに挟むことで外輪20に固定する。シール部材60を外周縁部61から内周縁部62にかけて内側に向けて凸に湾曲した立体形状とし、かつ、内周縁部62をカラー40のテーパ面411に対し外側から弾性的に面接触させることで、シール部材60の内側への入り込みを抑制する。

Description
[1]構成
図1は一実施形態に係る自動調心複列型のころ軸受1の一部断面側面図、図2はころ軸受1の分解斜視図である。ころ軸受1は、ステンレス鋼等の金属からなる環状の内輪10、外輪20および複数のころ(転動体)30を備えている。以下の説明で軸方向とは内輪10および外輪20の軸方向を言い、周方向は内輪10および外輪20の周方向を言う。
上記シール部材60は、外周縁部61から内周縁部62にかけて内側に向けて凸に湾曲しており、内周縁部62がカラー40の鍔部41のテーパ面411に対し外側から弾性的に面接触している。これによりシール部材60はころ軸受1の内側に入り込むといった挙動が起こりにくく、かつ、テーパ面411と常に安定して接触する。このため、シール部材60によってころ軸受内部への汚染物の侵入が効果的に防がれる。また、シール部材60がころ軸受1の内側に入り込むことによって生じる回転トルクの上昇が抑えられる。シール部材60は、外周縁部61が金属シールド部材70と外輪20に挟まれ、かつ、内周縁部62がカラー40に面接触し得る長さを有している。このためシール部材60は撓みやすく、カラー40に面接触することが確保される。
上記実施形態は本発明を限定するものではない。例えば上記実施形態では、本発明の内側部材は内輪10とカラー40とによって構成されているが、内側部材は、図5に示すように内輪10のみで構成されていてもよい。この場合、内輪10の表面(外面)にシール部材60の内周縁部62が外側から弾性的に面接触している。また、上記実施形態のシール部材60は内側に凸に湾曲する形状であるが、湾曲の代わりに、例えば内側に凸に屈曲する形状のものであってもよい。また、本発明はころ軸受に限定されず、玉軸受やニードルベアリング等の各種転がり軸受に適用可能である。

Claims (5)
- 内側レース面を有する内側部材と、
前記内側レース面との間に環状の軌道空間を形成する外側レース面を有する外側部材と、
前記軌道空間内に配置された複数の転動体と、
前記軌道空間の軸方向両端の開口を塞ぐ柔軟性を有する環状のシール部材と、
前記シール部材の軸方向外側に配設された環状の金属シールド部材と、を備え、
前記シール部材は、外周縁部と、前記内側部材の外面に接触する内周縁部とを有し、自然状態において前記外周縁部と前記内周縁部との間で軸方向内側から見て凸になるように立体的に形成されているとともに、取り付けた状態においては前記内周縁部が前記内側部材の外面に対し弾性的に面接触し、
前記金属シールド部材は前記外周縁部を前記外側部材との間に挟んだ状態で前記外側部材に固定され、前記内側部材の外面に対し非接触状態で前記シール部材の少なくとも一部を覆っていることを特徴とする転がり軸受。 - 前記シール部材は、前記外周縁部と前記内周縁部との間で湾曲していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の転がり軸受。
- 前記内側レース面が球面であり、前記転動体が前記球面と線接触する接触面を有するころであることを特徴とする自己調心可能な請求項1または2に記載の転がり軸受。
- 前記内側部材または前記外側部材に、潤滑剤を注入するための貫通孔が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の転がり軸受。
- 前記内側部材は、前記内側レース面を有する内輪と、該内輪の中空部に嵌合される円筒部材とを有し、前記シール部材の前記内周縁部は、該内輪もしくは該円筒部材の少なくともいずれか一方に面接触していることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の転がり軸受。
