Abstract
【解決手段】常時監視除氷システムは、空気圧除氷装置(3)及び該空気圧除氷装置を通って走る信号線(4)を有し得る。信号線は、裂けたブーツ縫目(10)等の空気圧除氷装置の破損に応答して、破断し得る。健全性監視装置は、かかる破損を検出する際に、警告を提供するために、信号線の導通状態を点検し得る。

Claims (15)
- 常時監視除氷システムであって、
空気圧除氷装置と、
前記空気圧除氷装置を通って配置され、前記空気圧除氷装置の破損に応答して電気的導通状態を失うように位置付けられる、少なくとも1つの信号線を含む信号線アレイと、を備える、常時監視除氷システム。 - 前記信号線アレイと電気通信する健全性監視装置をさらに備え、これにより前記信号線アレイの前記信号線の導通状態が判断される、請求項1に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 前記常時監視除氷システムがエアフォイルに沿って配置される、請求項1に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 前記信号線が炭素繊維フィラメントを含む、請求項1に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 前記信号線がニッケル−クロム合金を含む、請求項1に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 前記空気圧除氷装置が、
伸縮性織物を含む形成層と、
基層であって、前記形成層と平行にかつ前記基層の垂直方向内側に配置される非伸縮性織物を含む、基層と、
前記形成層と前記基層とを連結するブーツ縫目と、を備える、請求項1に記載の常時監視除氷システム。 - 前記形成層の垂直方向外側に配置される被覆層をさらに備える、請求項6に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 前記信号線が前記ブーツ縫目と同じ場所に配置される、請求項6に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 前記ブーツ縫目が、
前記形成層を通って延びる上糸と、
前記基層を通って延びる下糸と、を備える、請求項6に記載の常時監視除氷システム。 - 前記下糸が前記信号線を備える、請求項9に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 前記上糸が前記信号線を備える、請求項9に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 前記信号線が前記下糸に巻かれる、請求項9に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 前記信号線が前記上糸に巻かれる、請求項9に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 前記ブーツ縫目が前記信号線を含む、請求項6に記載の常時監視除氷システム。
- 常時監視除氷システムを動作させる方法であって、
健全性監視装置により、空気圧除氷装置のブーツ縫目に沿って配置される信号線に電流を通過させるよう試みることと、
前記健全性監視装置により、前記電流に応答した前記信号線の導通状態を評価することと、
前記健全性監視装置により、前記評価することに応答して前記信号線が導通状態を欠如することを特定することと、
前記健全性監視装置により、前記信号線が導通状態を欠如するという前記特定に応答して、前記ブーツ縫目が破断したことを判断することと、を含む、方法。
