Abstract
【解決手段】プレチャンバ(予備燃焼室)2に燃料Fを供給するためのプレチャンバ供給導管3に接続されたプレチャンバ2と、主燃焼室4とを備える。主燃焼室4の燃料Fは、プレチャンバ2から主燃焼室4内に進入すると共に前記プレチャンバ2での燃料Fの点火で生み出された点火フレアによって点火される。プレチャンバガス供給装置と主燃焼室4との間の圧力差を低減すべく、プレチャンバ供給導管3には、少なくとも1つのバルブ6.1,6.2が設けられている。前記バルブ6.1、6.2は、内燃エンジンのパワーの変化を特徴付けるパラメータに応じて、開ループ又は閉ループ制御装置5によって制御される。あるいは、前記バルブ6.1、6.2によって、プレチャンバ燃料流を、プレチャンバ2から分離した容積空間内に少なくとも部分的に迂回させることができる。

- 前記少なくとも1つのバルブ(6.1,6.2)は、逆止弁である、ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃エンジン。
- 前記プレチャンバ燃料流は、前記少なくとも1つのバルブ(6.1,6.2)の少なくとも部分的な遮断(好ましくは完全な遮断)によって、制限(好ましくは禁止)され得る、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の内燃エンジン。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバルブ(6.1,6.2)は、負荷の変化値に応じて、前記開ループ又は閉ループ制御装置(5)によって、開ループ制御又は閉ループ制御され得る、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の内燃エンジン。
- 閉ループ圧力制御弁又は開ループ圧力制御弁(8)が、前記プレチャンバ供給導管(3)に、−好ましくは、前記少なくとも1つのプレチャンバ(2)から遠く離れた前記少なくとも1つのバルブ(6.1,6.2)の側に−、設けられている、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の内燃エンジン。
- 吸排気導管(9)を介して当該内燃エンジン(1)の吸気マニホルド(7)に接続された比較式の開ループ圧力制御弁(8)が設けられている、ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃エンジン。
- 前記少なくとも1つのプレチャンバ(2)は、それぞれに少なくとも1つのプレチャンバ弁(11)を介して前記プレチャンバ供給導管(3)に接続されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の内燃エンジン。
