Abstract
Description
〔実施の態様〕
(1) 骨インプラントにおいて、
骨インプラントの第一の外側表面の上に備えられ、水溶性及び体液での分解性のいずれか一つである第一の材料を含む第一の層であって、第一の厚さを有する該第一の層と、
前記第一の層の外側表面の上に備えられ、第二の、生体適合性材料から形成される第二の層であって、前記第一の厚さよりも小さい第二の厚さを有する該第二の層とからなる骨インプラント。
(2) 前記第二の層は生体吸収性または生体溶解する材料を含むことを特徴とする実施態様1に記載の骨インプラント。
(3) 前記第二の層は非吸収性または非溶解の材料を含むことを特徴とする実施態様1に記載の骨インプラント。
(4) 前記第二の厚さは1nmから100nmの間であることを特徴とする実施態様3に記載の骨インプラント。
(5) 前記第二の層の吸収/溶解比率は、第一の層の吸収/溶解比率よりも小さいことを特徴とする実施態様2に記載の骨インプラント。
(6) 前記第二の層の吸収/溶解比率は、体内に埋め込まれた後2週間から3ヶ月の間であることを特徴とする実施態様5に記載の骨インプラント。
(7) 前記第一の層は吸収性材料を含むことを特徴とする実施態様1に記載の骨インプラント。
(8) 前記第一の層の前記第一の厚さは、およそ10μmから1000μmの間であり、前記第一の厚さの前記第二の厚さに対する比率は、10,000:1と1,000:1の範囲内にあることを特徴とする実施態様1に記載の骨インプラント。
(9) 前記第一の層は、ポリビニルアルコール(PVA)とポリ乳酸の一つから形成されることを特徴とする実施態様1に記載の骨インプラント。
(10) 前記第二の層は、非吸収性材料、好ましくは100nmの最大の第二の厚さを持つチタンまたはチタン合金であることを特徴とする実施態様9に記載の骨インプラント。
(11) 前記第二の層は、ヒドロキシアパタイトから形成され、10μmの最大の第二の厚さを有することを特徴とする実施態様9に記載の骨インプラント。
(12) 前記第一及び第二の層の少なくとも一つは、マグネシウム、鉄、及びそれらの合金を含む一群から選択された生体分解性の金属または合金の少なくとも一つであることを特徴とする実施態様1に記載の骨インプラント。
(13) 更に前記第1の層と前記第二の層との間に挿入された中間層とからなり、前記中間層は前記第一及び前記第二の層の材料の混合物を含むことを特徴とする実施態様1に記載の骨インプラント。
(14) 更に前記第二の層の外側表面の上に備えられた第三の層とからなり、該第三の層は水溶性及び体液での分解性のいずれか一つである材料から形成されることを特徴とする実施態様1に記載の骨インプラント。
(15) 更に前記第三の層の外側表面の上に備えられた第四の層とからなり、該第四の層は生体適合性材料から形成されることを特徴とする実施態様14に記載の骨インプラント。
(16) 水溶性または体液で分解可能な材料と生体適合性材料とからなる交互の層の数は2xであって、xは3またはそれより大きい数であることを特徴とする実施態様15に記載の骨インプラント。
(17) 前記第一の層の材料は、前記第二の層の材料と異なることを特徴とする実施態様1に記載の骨インプラント。
(18) 骨インプラントを製造する方法において、
骨インプラントの第一の表面の上に、水溶性及び体液での分解性のいずれか一つまたは両方である第一の材料の第一の層を塗布することと、
前記第一の層の外側表面の上に、生体適合性である第二の材料の第二の層を塗布することを特徴とする骨インプラントを製造する方法。
(19) 更に前記第二の層を塗布するより前に、前記第一及び第二の材料の混合物から形成される中間層を塗布する工程とからなること特徴とする実施態様18に記載の方法。
(20) 前記第一及び第二の層は、ディップ・コーティング及びスプレー・コーティングのいずれか一つにより塗布されることを特徴とする実施態様18に記載の方法。
Claims (15)
- 骨インプラントにおいて、
前記骨インプラントの第一の外側表面の上に備えられ、水溶性及び体液に分解性のいずれか一方を有する第一の材料を含む第一の層であって、第一の厚さを有する、第一の層と、
前記第一の層の外側表面の上に備えられ、第二の、生体適合性材料から形成される第二の層であって、前記第一の厚さよりも小さい第二の厚さを有する、第二の層と、
前記第二の層の外側表面の上に備えられた第三の層であって、水溶性及び体液に分解性のいずれか一方を有する材料から形成される、第三の層と、
前記第三の層の外側表面の上に備えられた第四の層であって、生体適合性材料から形成される、第四の層と、
を含む、骨インプラント。 - 前記第二の層は生体吸収性または生体溶解性を有する材料を含む、請求項1に記載の骨インプラント。
- 前記第二の層は非吸収性または非溶解性の材料を含む、請求項1に記載の骨インプラント。
- 前記第二の厚さは1nmから100nmの間である、請求項3に記載の骨インプラント。
- 前記第三の層は、前記第一の厚さに等しい第三の厚さを有し、前記第四の層は、前記第二の厚さに等しい第四の厚さを有する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の骨インプラント。
- 前記第一の層の前記第一の厚さは、およそ10μmから1000μmの間であり、前記第一の厚さの前記第二の厚さに対する比率は、10,000:1と1,000:1の範囲内にある、請求項1に記載の骨インプラント。
- 前記第一の層は、ポリビニルアルコール(PVA)およびポリ乳酸の一方から形成される、請求項1に記載の骨インプラント。
- 前記第二の層は、最大100nmの第二の厚さを持つチタンまたはチタン合金から形成される、請求項7に記載の骨インプラント。
- 前記第二の層は、ヒドロキシアパタイトから形成され、最大10μmの第二の厚さを有する、請求項7に記載の骨インプラント。
- 前記第1の層と前記第二の層との間に挿入された中間層を更に含み、前記中間層は前記第一及び第二の層の材料の混合物から形成される、請求項1に記載の骨インプラント。
- 水溶性または体液に分解性の材料を含む層と生体適合性材料を含む層の交互の層の数は2xであって、xは3またはそれより大きい数である、請求項1に記載の骨インプラント。
- 前記第四の層は、埋め込まれると周辺組織との接触層を形成する、前記インプラントの外側表面を形成する、請求項1に記載の骨インプラント。
- 骨インプラントを製造する方法において、
前記骨インプラントの第一の表面の上に、水溶性及び体液に分解性のいずれか一方または両方を有する第一の材料の第一の層を塗布することと、
前記第一の層の外側表面の上に、生体適合性である第二の材料の第二の層を塗布することと、
前記第二の層の外側表面の上に、水溶性で体液に分解性の第三の材料の第三の層を塗布することと、
前記第三の層の外側表面の上に、生体適合性の第四の材料の第四の層を塗布することと、
を含む、骨インプラントを製造する方法。 - 前記第二の層を塗布するより前に、前記第一及び第二の材料の混合物から形成される中間層を前記第一の層の上に塗布する工程、
を更に含む、請求項13に記載の方法。 - 前記第一、第二、第三、及び第四の層は、ディップ・コーティング及びスプレー・コーティングのいずれか一つにより塗布される、請求項13に記載の方法。
