Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、点火プラグの電極台材に設定された接合領域上に、卑金属層と貴金属層とがクラッドされた電極チップを形成するための部材であって、前記接合領域に接触する卑金属層に、前記卑金属層に接触する貴金属層をクラッドした長尺のテープ状の形態を有し、前記卑金属層の幅は、前記接合領域の縦、横、又は直径のいずれかに略等しい幅を有する点火プラグ電極製造用のテープ材に関するものである。

Claims (6)
- 点火プラグの電極台材に設定された接合領域上に、卑金属層と貴金属層とがクラッドされた電極チップを形成するための部材であって、
前記接合領域に接触する卑金属層に、前記卑金属層に接触する貴金属層をクラッドした長尺のテープ状の形態を有し、
前記卑金属層の幅は、前記接合領域の縦、横、又は直径のいずれかに略等しい幅を有する点火プラグ電極製造用のテープ材。 - 断面形状において、卑金属層の接合領域側の面に1つ以上のプロジェクションが形成された請求項1記載の点火プラグ電極製造用のテープ材。
- 卑金属層は、Ni又はNi合金、若しくは、Cu又はCu合金からなる請求項1又は請求項2記載の点火プラグ電極製造用のテープ材。
- 貴金属層は、Pt又はPt合金、若しくは、Ir又はIr合金のいずれかよりなる請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の点火プラグ電極製造用のテープ材。
- 請求項1〜請求項4のいずれかに記載のテープ材を切断して形成される点火プラグ用の電極チップ。
- 請求項5記載の電極チップを電極台材上に備える点火プラグ
