Abstract

Claims (6)
- OLED、データラインを介して供給されるデータ電圧と基準ラインを介して供給される基準電圧間の電圧差に応じて前記OLEDに流れる電流量を制御する駆動TFTをそれぞれ含む複数のピクセルが形成された表示パネルと、
入力映像データに対応するデータ電圧を生成して前記ピクセルに接続されたデータラインに印加するソースドライバICと、
前記入力映像データを分析して基準電圧制御データを生成する映像分析部と、
前記基準電圧制御データに基づいて入力映像に応じて変化する基準電圧を生成し、前記基準電圧を前記ピクセルに接続された基準ラインに印加する基準電圧調整部と
を備える有機発光表示装置。 - 前記基準電圧調整部は、1ピクセル単位で前記基準電圧を個別調整する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記基準電圧調整部は、前記基準ラインに接続された複数の調整ユニットを含み、
前記調整ユニットのそれぞれは、基準電圧制御データを用いて、それに対応する基準電圧を生成するデジタル−アナログ変換部と、前記デジタル−アナログ変換部から入力される基準電圧を当該基準ラインに供給するアンプを含む
ことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記アンプは、あらかじめ設定されたセンシングモードで前記駆動TFTの電気的特性の変化をセンシングすることに活用されることで、前記基準電圧を当該基準ラインに供給する時にはユニットゲインバッファとして動作する
ことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記基準電圧調整部は、少なくとも2つ以上のピクセルが含まれた1表示ブロック単位で前記基準電圧を個別調整する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。 - 前記映像分析部は、前記入力映像の表示階調に応じて前記基準電圧制御データを異なるように生成し、
前記基準電圧調整部は、前記基準電圧制御データに基づいて、前記入力映像が暗いほど上向き調整された基準電圧を生成し、前記入力映像が明るいほど下向き調整された基準電圧を生成する
ことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の有機発光表示装置。
