Abstract

Description
本出願は、すべての目的でここに参照のために組み込まれる2009年1月19日に出願された米国特許仮出願No. 61/145,693の優先権を主張する。
本発明は、一定のシーケンスの駆動ステップを有する器具に関する。詳しくは、本発明は、医療デバイスの展開時の送達シーケンスにおける医師の誤りを解消することを意図した医療デバイスの展開ハンドルに関する。
本発明の実施形態に係わる器具を製造してケーブル保持力を試験した。図10Aの上面図と図10Bの斜視図に示すように、基体1002を有する取り付け部1000が組み立てられた。基体1002は空洞1006を有し、ケーブル1008と保持球1004を受け入れる寸法になっている。図10C,図10Dは空洞1006のセンターラインで切った断面図である。図示のように、ケーブル1008を空洞1006内に配置した。次にボールベアリング1004を空洞1006に押し込み、図10Dに示すようにケーブルを変形させた。次に医療等級のUV硬化性接着剤を空洞に供給し、空洞、ボールベアリング、及び変形したケーブルを部分的に一体化した(enmembersulating)。
実施例1からの器具にケーブル・セクションをはめ込み、ボールベアリングを空洞に押し込み、接着剤を上から塗布した。ボールベアリングを押し込んで保持するのに必要な圧縮荷重をAmetek(登録商標)(Paoli, PA) Chatillion(登録商標)DFX-050圧縮ゲージを用いて記録した。接着剤を硬化させた後、ケーブルを引っ張って保持荷重を決定した。ケーブルはInstron(登録商標)(Norwood, MA)引っ張り試験機と荷重セルを用いて引っ張った。20個のアセンブリを調べた。
Claims (11)
- a. 遠隔に位置する展開可能なデバイスと連通するように遠位方向に伸延する第一のラインに取り付けられた第一の脱離可能な部材と、
b. 回転可能な部分を有する第二の脱離可能な部材であって、前記第一の脱離可能な部材によって少なくとも部分的に覆われ、該遠隔に位置する展開可能なデバイスと連通するように遠位方向に伸延する第二のラインに取り付けられた第二の脱離可能な部材と、
c. 前記第二の脱離可能な部材によって少なくとも部分的に覆われ、該遠隔に位置する展開可能なデバイスと連通するように遠位方向に伸延する第三のラインに取り付けられた第三の部材と、
を備える固定シーケンスの駆動ハンドル。 - 該第一の部材の存在が該第二の部材の脱離を妨げる、請求項1に記載の固定シーケンスの駆動ハンドル。
- 該第二の部材の存在が該第三の部材の脱離を妨げる、請求項1に記載の固定シーケンスの駆動ハンドル。
- 該第三の部材が該第二の部材の内部に入れ子になっており、該第二の部材が該第一の部材の内部に入れ子になっている、請求項1に記載の固定シーケンスの駆動ハンドル。
- 該第三の部材が脱離可能である、請求項1に記載の固定シーケンスの駆動ハンドル。
- さらに、前記第一、第二又は第三の遠位方向に伸延するラインの少なくとも一つへのアクセス口を備える、請求項1に記載の固定シーケンスの駆動ハンドル。
- a. 遠隔に位置する展開可能なデバイスと連通するように遠位方向に伸延する第一のラインに取り付けられた第一の脱離可能な部材と、
b. 調整機能を有する第二の部材であって前記第一の脱離可能な部材によって少なくとも部分的に覆われ、該遠隔に位置する展開可能なデバイスと連通するように遠位方向に伸延する第二のラインに取り付けられた第二の部材と、
を備える固定シーケンスの駆動ハンドル。 - 少なくとも第一、第二、及び第三の脱離可能な部材を備えた固定シーケンスの駆動ハンドルであって、該第一、第二、及び第三の部材の各々は第一及び第二の部分を有する遠隔に位置する展開可能なデバイスと連通するように遠位方向に伸延するラインに取り付けられ、
該ハンドルからの該第一の部材の脱離が該デバイスの該第一の部分の部分的展開を生じて該第二の部材へのアクセスを可能にし、
該第二の部材は回転可能な部分を有し、前記部分の回転は該展開可能なデバイスの該第一の部分を変化させ、
前記第二の部材の脱離が該デバイスの該第一の部分の完全な展開を生じて該第三の部材へのアクセスを可能にし、
該第三の部材の操作によって該デバイスの該第二の部分が展開される、固定シーケンスの駆動ハンドル。 - 展開可能なデバイスを送達する方法であって、
a.第一及び第二の部分を有する遠隔に位置する展開可能なデバイスと連通するように遠位方向に伸延する少なくとも一つのラインに各々が取り付けられた少なくとも第一、第二及び第三の脱離可能な部材を有するハンドルを用意するステップと、
b. 該展開可能なデバイスを目標位置に送達するステップと、
c. 該ハンドルから該第一の部材を脱離させて該デバイスの該第一の部分を部分的に展開させ、該第二の部材へのアクセスを可能にするステップと、
d. 該第二の部材の回転可能な部分を回転させて該展開可能なデバイスの該第一の部分を変化させるステップと、
e. 該第二の部材を脱離させて該デバイスの該第一の部分の展開を完了し、該第三の部材へのアクセスを可能にするステップと、
f. 該第三の部材を操作して該デバイスの該第二の部分を展開させ、該展開されたデバイスの送達を実現するステップと、
を含む方法。 - a. 少なくとも一つの保持要素と、
b. 該少なくとも一つの保持要素の挿入を許可する寸法の空洞を有する基体と、
c. 該基体の第一の端部から前記空洞まで伸延する第一のスロットと、
d. 該基体の第二の端部から前記空洞まで伸延する第二のスロットと、を備えるケーブル保持システムであって、
該第一及び第二のスロットは、該スロット内に細長い部材を配置することを許可するような寸法であり、該保持要素は、該細長い部材を該空洞内に保持する、ケーブル保持システム。 - デバイスハンドルに細長い部材を保持する方法であって、
a. 空洞を有する基体と、第一のスロット及び第二のスロットとを有するデバイスハンドルを用意するステップと、
b. 該第一及び第二のスロットの内部に該空洞を横切るように少なくとも一つの細長い部材を配置するステップと、
c.該少なくとも一つの細長い部材が保持要素と該基体との間で固定されるように該空洞の内部に少なくとも一つの該保持要素を配置するステップと、
を含む方法。
