Abstract
【解決手段】面光源装置200は、レーザー光源9と、レーザー光L90を第1の線状の光に変換するレーザー導光棒7と、LED光源10と、LED光L100を第1の線状の光と同一方向に延びる第2の線状の光に変換するLED導光棒8と、第1の線状の光および第2の線状の光を反射する反射バー6と、箱形状に形成され出射側が開口する開口部56と箱形状の内側に反射面57とを有する光反射部5とを備えている。第1の線状の光および第2の線状の光は、反射バー6および反射面57で反射され、開口部56から出射される。

Description
本発明の実施の形態について、図面を用いて以下に説明する。図1は、実施の形態に係る液晶表示装置100の構成の一例を概略的に示す構成図であり、図2は、面光源装置200の構成の一例を概略的に示す構成図であり、図3は、液晶表示装置100の構成の一例を概略的に示す構成図である。
Claims (7)
- 第1の光を発する第1の光源と、
第1の光入射面を有し、かつ、前記第1の光を前記第1の光入射面から入射して第1の線状の光に変換する第1の導光棒と、
前記第1の光よりも大きな発散角を有する第2の光を発する第2の光源と、
第2の光入射面を有し、かつ、前記第2の光を前記第2の光入射面から入射して、前記第1の線状の光と同一方向に延びる第2の線状の光に変換する第2の導光棒と、
前記第1の導光棒および前記第2の導光棒の出射側に配置され、かつ、前記第1の線状の光および前記第2の線状の光を反射する反射バーと、
前記第1の導光棒、前記第2の光源、前記第2の導光棒および前記反射バーを収容可能に箱形状に形成され、かつ、前記出射側が開口する開口部と、前記箱形状の内側に前記第1の線状の光および前記第2の線状の光を反射する反射面とを有する反射部と、
を備え、
前記第1の光入射面は、前記第1の導光棒の長手方向の端面であり、
前記第1の光源は、前記第1の光入射面と対向する位置に配置され、
前記第2の光入射面は、前記第2の導光棒の長手方向に沿って形成され、かつ、前記出射側とは反対側に形成される面であり、
前記第2の光源は、前記第2の光入射面と対向する位置に配置され、
前記第1の線状の光および前記第2の線状の光は、前記反射バーおよび前記反射面で反射され、前記開口部から出射される、面光源装置。 - 前記第1の導光棒は、端部が外部に突出した状態で前記反射部に保持され、
前記第1の光源および前記第1の光入射面は、前記反射部の外側に配置され、
前記第2の光源および前記第2の導光棒は、前記反射部の内側に配置される、請求項1記載の面光源装置。 - 前記第1の導光棒は、前記第2の導光棒よりも前記開口部側に配置され、
前記反射バーは、前記第1の導光棒よりも前記開口部側に配置される、請求項1または請求項2記載の面光源装置。 - 前記第1の導光棒は、透明材料と前記透明材料よりも屈折率の高い拡散材とを用いて構成され、かつ、入射した前記第1の光を拡散反射して出射する、請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の面光源装置。
- 前記第1の光源はレーザー光源である、請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の面光源装置。
- 前記第2の光源はLED光源である、請求項1から4のいずれか1つに記載の面光源装置。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか1つに記載の面光源装置と、
前記面光源装置からの光が照明されることで画像を表示する液晶パネルと、
を備える、液晶表示装置。
