Claims (10)
- 複数の画素グループを含み、前記画素グループの各々は、第1画素と、前記第1画素と一方向に隣接する第2画素とを含み、
前記第1画素及び前記第2画素は、3以上の奇数であるn個のサブ画素を含む表示パネルと、入力データに基づいてレンダリング動作を遂行して前記サブ画素に対応する出力データを生成するタイミングコントローラと、前記サブ画素にゲート信号を提供するゲートドライバと、
前記サブ画素に前記出力データに対応するデータ電圧を提供するデータドライバと、を含み、
前記第1画素及び前記第2画素は前記サブ画素の中で第(n+1)/2番目のサブ画素を互いに共有し、前記サブ画素の各々は、前記複数の画素グループいずれか1つの画素グループに含まれる表示装置。 - 前記サブ画素は、2行4列又は4行2列に配列された8個のサブ画素グループ単位で反復的に配列され、前記サブ画素グループは、2つのレッドサブ画素、2つのグリーンサブ画素、2つのブルーサブ画素、及び2つのホワイトサブ画素を含む請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記サブ画素は、2行5列又は5行2列に配列された10個のサブ画素グループ単位で反復的に配列され、前記サブ画素グループは、2つのレッドサブ画素、2つのグリーンサブ画素、2つのブルーサブ画素、及び4つのホワイトサブ画素を含む請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記サブ画素は、2行5列又は5行2列に配列された10個のサブ画素グループ単位で反復的に配列され、前記サブ画素グループは、3個のレッドサブ画素、3個のグリーンサブ画素、2つのブルーサブ画素、及び2つのホワイトサブ画素を含む請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記サブ画素は、2行5列又は5行2列に配列された10個のサブ画素グループ単位で反復的に配列され、前記サブ画素グループは、2つのレッドサブ画素、4つのグリーンサブ画素、2つのブルーサブ画素、及び2つのホワイトサブ画素を含む請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記サブ画素は、2行6列又は6行2列に配列された12個のサブ画素グループ単位で反復的に配列され、前記サブ画素グループは、4つのレッドサブ画素、4つのグリーンサブ画素、2つのブルーサブ画素、及び2つのホワイトサブ画素を含む請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記サブ画素は、1行3列又は3行1列に配列された3個のサブ画素グループ単位で反復的に配列され、前記サブ画素グループは、1つのレッドサブ画素、1つのグリーンサブ画素、及び1つのブルーサブ画素を含む請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第(n+1)/2番目のサブ画素はホワイトサブ画素である請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1画素及び前記第2画素の各々の横縦比は、実質的に1:1である請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記nは5である請求項9に記載の表示装置。
