Abstract
Description
以下、本発明の実施例について説明する。
図4に示す結果より明らかのように、入力回転が始動後2000rpm一定で継続した時、ファン回転数が1500rpmにまで下がった時の時間間隔、即ち始動つれ廻り時間は、従来装置の場合は、(ロ)に示すようにダムによる油回収量がダムの回収能力不足により少ないために約30秒と長いのに対し、本発明の温度感応型流体式ファン・クラッチ装置(ダムと油循環流通路がそれぞれ2個の場合)は、(イ)に示すように油の回収量の増加により約15秒と短くなり、始動時の“つれ廻り”を低減できる。

Claims (1)
- 駆動ディスクを固着した回転軸体上に、軸受を介して支承された非磁性体のケースと該ケースに取着されたカバーとからなる密封器匣の内部が、油の供給調整孔を有する仕切板により油溜り室と駆動ディスクを内装するトルク伝達室とに区劃され、回転時の油の集溜する駆動ディスクの外周壁部に対向する密封器匣側の内周壁面の一部にダムと、これに連なってトルク伝達室より油溜り室間に油循環流通路を備えると共に、外部周囲の温度が設定値を超えると前記仕切板の供給調整孔を開放し、設定値以下では前記仕切板の供給調整孔を閉鎖する油供給用弁部材を前記カバーの前面に設けた感温体の温度変化に伴う変形に連動するように内部に備え、駆動ディスクと前記密封器匣の外方付近の対向壁面に設けたトルク伝達間隙部での油の有効接触面積を増減させて、駆動側の回転体から被駆動側の密封器匣側への回転トルク伝達を制御するようにしてなる外部制御式ファン・クラッチ装置において、前記ダムと油循環流通路をそれぞれ2つ以上設けると共に、前記2つ以上の油循環流通路の少なくとも一つを開閉する油回収用弁部材を油溜り室内に配置するとともに、該油回収用弁部材を前記油供給用弁部材と共通の感温体の温度変化に伴う変形に連動して前記油供給用弁部材とは別々に作動するごとく設けたことを特徴とする温度感応型流体式ファン・クラッチ装置。
