Abstract
Description
図1は、実施の形態1に係る光モジュール100の構成を示す平面模式図である。図1に示す光モジュール100は、プリント回路板(PCB:Printed Circuits Board)110、光変調器120、FPC130、電極140及びドライバ150を有する。
実施の形態2の特徴は、シグナルピンを結ぶ線分と平行な方向のグランドピンのサイズをシグナルピンと同じサイズとし、複数のピンの間のピッチを小さくすることである。
実施の形態3の特徴は、FPCに切り込みを設け、シグナルピンの間を遮蔽する細長い断面形状のグランドピンをFPCの切り込みに挿入する構成とし、FPCの加工を容易にすることである。

Claims (6)
- 複数の電極を有し、当該複数の電極へ入力される電気信号を用いて光変調をする光変調器と、
前記複数の電極それぞれへ入力される電気信号を伝送する複数の配線パターンを有する可撓性のフレキシブル基板とを有し、
前記光変調器は、
前記複数の電極と前記複数の配線パターンとを接続する複数の接続部材と、
互いに隣り合う前記接続部材を結ぶ線分上に配置されて前記フレキシブル基板に接続し、断面の前記線分に対して垂直な方向のサイズが前記接続部材の断面よりも大きい接地電圧の突起と
を有することを特徴とする光モジュール。 - 前記接続部材は、
円形の断面を有し、
前記突起は、
前記接続部材の断面よりも大径かつ円形の断面を有する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の光モジュール。 - 前記接続部材は、
円形の断面を有し、
前記突起は、
断面の前記線分と平行な方向のサイズが前記接続部材の断面と同じ大きさである
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の光モジュール。 - 前記フレキシブル基板は、
前記接続部材及び前記突起の断面と同じ形状の貫通孔が形成されたスルーホールを有し、
前記接続部材及び前記突起は、
前記スルーホールに形成された貫通孔を貫通する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の光モジュール。 - 前記フレキシブル基板は、
前記突起の断面の外周の一部に沿った形状の切り込みが形成された端部を有し、
前記突起は、
前記端部に形成された切り込みに挿入される
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の光モジュール。 - 光を発生させる光源と、
複数の電極を有し、当該複数の電極へ入力される電気信号を用いて光変調をする光変調器と、
送信データに対応する電気信号を生成するドライバと、
前記ドライバによって生成された電気信号を前記複数の電極それぞれへ伝送する複数の配線パターンを有する可撓性のフレキシブル基板とを有し、
前記光変調器は、
前記複数の電極と前記複数の配線パターンとを接続する複数の接続部材と、
互いに隣り合う前記接続部材を結ぶ線分上に配置されて前記フレキシブル基板に接続し、断面の前記線分に対して垂直な方向のサイズが前記接続部材の断面よりも大きい接地電圧の突起と
を有することを特徴とする送信装置。
