Abstract
Description
本発明は、絶縁性高分子フィルムの無駄を減らすことができるラッピング電極体及びその製造方法を提供する。
前記絶縁性高分子フィルムは、ポリオレフィン樹脂フィルム、ポリエステル樹脂フィルム、ポリスチレン樹脂フィルム、ポリイミドフィルム、ポリアミドフィルム、フルオロカーボン樹脂フィルム、エービーエスフィルム、ポリアクリル系フィルム、アセタール系フィルム、ポリカーボネートフィルムで構成された群から選択されたいずれか一つを含んで形成されることができる。
本発明に係るラッピング電極体及びその製造方法は、穿孔または打抜により絶縁性高分子フィルムが捨てられることを防止することができるので、絶縁性高分子フィルムの材料費用を節減することができる。
上記のように電極板110を囲む絶縁性高分子フィルム140を分離された形態で形成することにより、電極板110を収納する空間を形成するために絶縁性高分子フィルムを打抜くか穿孔する工程をなくすことができ、打抜または穿孔過程で絶縁性高分子フィルムが無駄になることを防止することができる。
Claims (14)
- 電極積層方式で製造される2次電池に使用される電極体において、
リチウムイオンを可逆的に吸蔵、放出することができる電極活物質のコーティング層及び無地突出部を有する電極板と、
前記無地突出部のみを露出させながら前記電極板の両面を被覆する第1分離膜及び第2分離膜と、
前記電極板の周りの少なくとも一部で前記第1分離膜及び前記第2分離膜間に位置して前記第1分離膜及び前記第2分離膜と接着される絶縁性高分子フィルムとを含み、
前記絶縁性高分子フィルムは、少なくとも2個の部分で分離形成される、ラッピング電極体。 - 前記絶縁性高分子フィルムは、前記電極板の厚さ方向の側面に沿って配置される第1部材乃至第4部材を含み、
前記第1部材乃至前記第4部材の厚さ方向の両面には接着剤が塗布される請求項1に記載のラッピング電極体。 - 前記絶縁性高分子フィルムは、前記電極板の厚さ方向の側面に沿って配置される第1部材乃至第4部材を含み、
前記第1部材乃至前記第4部材の厚さ方向の両面と向かい合う前記第1分離膜及び前記第2分離膜には接着剤が塗布される請求項1に記載のラッピング電極体。 - 前記第1部材乃至前記第4部材のいずれか一つには、前記電極板のタブが収容されるタブ収容部が形成される請求項2または3に記載のラッピング電極体。
- 前記第1部材乃至前記第4部材は、互いに隣接した部材と密着形成される請求項4に記載のラッピング電極体。
- 前記第1部材乃至前記第4部材は、互いに隣接した部材との間に間隙が存在するように配置される請求項4に記載のラッピング電極体。

- 電極板積層方式で製造される2次電池に使用される電極体の製造方法において、
リチウムイオンを可逆的に吸蔵、放出することができる電極活物質のコーティング層及び無地突出部を該各々が有する同一形状の複数の電極板を準備するステップと、
前記電極板が収納可能な空間が形成されるように、少なくとも2個の部分で分離形成された絶縁性高分子フィルムを準備するステップと、
前記電極板及び前記絶縁性高分子フィルムの上面及び下面にそれぞれ位置する帯状の第1分離膜及び第2分離膜を準備するステップと、
前記第1分離膜または前記第2分離膜のうち前記絶縁性高分子フィルムの下部に位置するいずれか一つと前記絶縁性高分子フィルムとを接着させるステップと、
前記絶縁性高分子フィルムによって形成された空間内に前記電極板を位置させるステップと、
前記第1分離膜または前記第2分離膜のうち前記絶縁性高分子フィルムの上部に位置する他のいずれか一つと前記絶縁性高分子フィルムとを接着させるステップと、
を含むラッピング電極体の製造方法。 - 前記第1分離膜または前記第2分離膜のうち前記絶縁性高分子フィルムの下部に位置するいずれか一つと前記絶縁性高分子フィルムとを接着させるステップにおいては、

前記絶縁性高分子フィルムと前記分離膜を加熱しながら加圧ロールの間に通過させる請求項12に記載のラッピング電極体の製造方法。
