Claims (21)
- 熱可塑性要素第1表面および熱可塑性要素第2表面を有する熱可塑性要素と、
構造要素第1表面および構造要素第2表面を有する構造要素であって、前記熱可塑性要素が開口部内にある構造要素と、
前記熱可塑性要素第2表面と前記構造要素第1表面との間にある異方性結合要素と
を含むことを特徴とする、プラスチックアセンブリ。 - 請求項1に記載のプラスチックアセンブリであって、前記異方性結合要素が、第1の配向方向での変形に関する第1の弾性係数と、第2の配向方向での変形に関する第2の弾性係数とを有し、前記第2の弾性係数が前記第1の弾性係数よりも25%以上大きいことを特徴とするプラスチックアセンブリ。
- 請求項2に記載のプラスチックアセンブリであって、前記第1の弾性係数が、前記熱可塑性要素の外周に直交する変形に関することを特徴とするプラスチックアセンブリ。
- 請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のプラスチックアセンブリであって、
前記熱可塑性要素が第1の熱膨張係数を有し、
前記構造要素が第2の熱膨張係数を有し、前記第1の熱膨張係数と前記第2の熱膨張係数とが10%以上異なり、
前記異方性結合要素が細長い部材を母材中に含む
ことを特徴とするプラスチックアセンブリ。 - 請求項1から4のいずれかに記載のプラスチックアセンブリであって、前記異方性結合要素が、前記熱可塑性要素を前記構造要素に取り付けるより前に固体複合体材料を含むものであることを特徴とするプラスチックアセンブリ。
- 請求項1から5のいずれかに記載のプラスチックアセンブリであって、前記熱可塑性要素第2表面と結合要素第1表面との間、および/または結合要素第2表面と前記構造要素第1表面との間に、接着剤をさらに含むことを特徴とするプラスチックアセンブリ。
- 請求項1から6のいずれかに記載のプラスチックアセンブリであって、前記細長い部材が繊維を含むことを特徴とするプラスチックアセンブリ。
- 請求項1から7のいずれかに記載のプラスチックアセンブリであって、前記熱可塑性要素がポリカーボネートを含むことを特徴とするプラスチックアセンブリ。
- 請求項1から8のいずれかに記載のプラスチックアセンブリであって、前記熱可塑性要素が、フロントガラス、天窓、リアウィンドウ、サイドウィンドウ、クォーターウィンドウ、リアクォーターウィンドウ、スポイラー、ボディパネル、または前述の少なくとも1種を含む組合せであることを特徴とするプラスチックアセンブリ。
- 請求項1から9のいずれかに記載のプラスチックアセンブリから作製されることを特徴とする物品。
- 請求項10に記載の物品であって、前記アセンブリが、グレージング、照明モジュール、ボディパネル、天窓、建物、スタジアム、窓、または前述の少なくとも1種を含む組合せであることを特徴とする物品。
- プラスチックアセンブリを形成する方法であって、
異方性結合要素を形成するステップであって、前記異方性結合要素が結合要素母材および細長い部材を含み、前記細長い部材が、前記結合要素母材の弾性係数とは異なる弾性係数を有するステップと、
構造要素第1表面および構造要素第2表面を有する構造要素と、熱可塑性要素第1表面および熱可塑性要素第2表面を有する熱可塑性要素とを組み立てるステップであって、前記結合要素が前記構造要素第1表面と前記熱可塑性要素第2表面との間に位置付けられているステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項12に記載の方法であって、前記細長い部材の弾性係数が、前記結合要素母材の弾性係数よりも大きいことを特徴とする方法。
- プラスチックアセンブリを形成する方法であって、
細長い部材を熱可塑性要素の表面または構造要素の表面に配置構成するステップであって、前記構造要素が構造要素第1表面および構造要素第2表面を有し、前記熱可塑性要素が熱可塑性要素第1表面および熱可塑性要素第2表面を有するステップと、
前記細長い部材を結合要素母材でオーバーコートして、異方性結合要素を形成するステップと、
プラスチックアセンブリを組み立てるステップであって、前記異方性結合要素が前記熱可塑性要素第2表面と前記構造要素第1表面との間に位置付けられるステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項12から14のいずれかに記載の方法であって、前記異方性結合要素が、前記熱可塑性要素を前記構造要素に取り付けるより前に固体複合体材料を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項12から15のいずれかに記載の方法であって、前記異方性結合要素を形成するステップが、前記結合要素母材および前記細長い部材を混合して混合物を形成するステップと、前記混合物を共通のリザーバから押し出すステップとをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項12から16のいずれかに記載の方法であって、前記異方性結合要素を形成するステップが、前記結合要素母材を押し出し、前記細長い部材を別の供給源から得るステップと、前記細長い部材を配向させるステップと、前記結合要素母材および前記配向した細長い部材を、それらが前記構造要素および/または前記熱可塑性要素に組み立てられるときに合体させるステップとをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項12から17のいずれかに記載の方法であって、開口チャネルを1対のガイドで形成するステップをさらに含み、前記ガイドが前記細長い部材の配向を画定することを特徴とする方法。
- プラスチックアセンブリを形成する方法であって、
細長い部材のない結合要素母材を含んだ第1の層、細長い部材を含んだ第2の層、および細長い部材のない結合要素母材を含んだ第3の層を含む、異方性結合要素を形成するステップと、
前記異方性結合要素を構造要素および熱可塑性要素に取り付けるステップであって、前記異方性結合要素が熱可塑性要素第2表面と構造要素第1表面との間にあるステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項19に記載の方法であって、前記第2の層が、前記細長い部材を含んだ結合要素母材をさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項19または20に記載の方法であって、1対のガイドで開口チャネルを形成するステップであり、前記ガイドが細長い部材の配向を画定し、かつ/または、前記層の位置合わせを行うステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。
