Abstract
Description
a)処理チャンバ内に処理されることになる流体を提供するステップであって、処理チャンバは、典型的に、空のキャビティ、又は、物質を吸収することができるゲルのようなある物質で満たされるキャビティであり、開いたキャビティ、閉じたキャビティ、又は、流体接続チャネルによって他のキャビティに接続されたキャビティであり得る、ステップと、
b)前述の処理チャンバ内に磁性粒子を提供するステップであって、「磁性粒子」という用語は、永久磁性粒子も、例えば超常磁性ビーズ等の磁化可能粒子も含むものとし、磁性粒子のサイズは、典型的に、3nmから50μmに及ぶ、ステップと、
c)処理チャンバ内の、以下において「ブロッキングゾーン」と呼ばれる(二次元又は三次元)ゾーンにおいて前述の磁性粒子を、ブロッキングゾーンを通る干渉粒子の移動が妨げられる、好ましくは防がれるように分布させるステップと、
を含むものとする。
−(例えば、蓄積領域内の集合状態における等、特定の他の配置から始まる)分布された磁性粒子の配置の発生、及び/又は、
−長期間(おそらく、無限の期間)にわたる、特に、意図される処理の1つ又は複数のステップの間のそのような配置の維持、
を意味するものとする。
−流体及び磁性粒子を提供することができる処理チャンバ、
−処理チャンバにおいて磁場を発生させるための磁場発生器であって、前記磁場が処理チャンバ内のブロッキングゾーンにおいて磁性粒子を、ブロッキングゾーンを通る干渉粒子の移動が妨げられるように分布させ、例えば、永久磁石又は電磁石を含んでもよい磁場発生器、
を含む。
Claims (15)
- 干渉粒子を含有する流体を処理するための方法であって、前記干渉粒子は、前記流体の処理に何らかの方法で干渉すると仮定され、当該方法が、
a)処理チャンバ内に前記流体を提供するステップと、
b)前記処理チャンバ内に磁性粒子を提供するステップと、
c)前記処理チャンバ内のブロッキングゾーンにおいて前記磁性粒子を、前記ブロッキングゾーンを通る前記干渉粒子の移動が前記流体の処理の間に妨げられるように分布させるステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記ブロッキングゾーンにおいて前記磁性粒子の分布を発生させる及び/又は維持する磁場が生じる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 干渉粒子を含有する流体を処理するための処理装置であって、前記干渉粒子は、前記流体の処理に何らかの方法で干渉すると仮定され、当該装置が、
a)前記流体及び磁性粒子を提供することができる処理チャンバ、
b)該処理チャンバ内のブロッキングゾーンにおいて前記磁性粒子を、前記ブロッキングゾーンを通る前記干渉粒子の移動が前記流体の処理の間に妨げられるように分布させる磁場を発生させるための磁場発生器、
を含む、処理装置。 - Δが、前記ブロッキングゾーンにおける磁性粒子及び/又は磁性粒子のクラスター間の平均距離であり、さらに、dが、前記干渉粒子の平均直径であり、以下の関係、Δ≦5d、好ましくはΔ≦dが保たれる、請求項1に記載の方法又は請求項3に記載の処理装置。
- 前記処理チャンバの表面が、前記流体の処理が起こり得る処理領域を含む、請求項1に記載の方法又は請求項3に記載の処理装置。
- 前記処理領域は、重力に関して前記ブロッキングゾーンの上に置かれる、請求項5に記載の方法又は処理装置。
- 前記処理領域は、前記流体の標的成分に対する結合部位を含む、請求項5に記載の方法又は処理装置。
- 検出ユニットが、前記流体の標的成分を検出するために提供される、請求項1に記載の方法又は請求項3に記載の処理装置。
- 前記ブロッキングゾーンは、前記処理チャンバの壁の間を延び、前記処理チャンバを2つの非連結の体積に分ける、請求項1に記載の方法又は請求項3に記載の処理装置。
- 前記磁性粒子は、前記流体の添加の前に、前記処理チャンバの表面上に乾燥試薬として配置される、請求項1に記載の方法又は請求項3に記載の処理装置。
- 前記ブロッキングゾーンは、前記処理チャンバ内で動かされる、請求項1に記載の方法又は請求項3に記載の処理装置。
- 前記ブロッキングゾーンは、前記処理チャンバに対する前記流体の導入に先立ち生じる、請求項1に記載の方法又は請求項3に記載の処理装置。
- 前記流体の標的成分に対する結合部位を有する磁気ラベル粒子が提供される、請求項1に記載の方法又は請求項3に記載の処理装置。
- 前記流体は、生物学的流体、特に血液を含む、請求項1に記載の方法又は請求項3に記載の処理装置。
- 分子診断、生物学的試料の分析、化学的試料の分析、食べ物の分析、及び/又は、法医学的分析に対する、請求項1乃至13のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置の使用。
