Claims (19)
- 医療器具であって、
筐体と、
前記筐体に動作可能に接続されているエンドエフェクタアセンブリと
を備え、
前記エンドエフェクタアセンブリは、
各々が組織接触表面を有する第1および第2のジョー部材であって、前記第1および第2のジョー部材のうちの少なくとも1つは、第1の離間位置と第2の近接位置との間で移動可能であり、前記第2の位置において、前記ジョー部材は、前記ジョー部材間に組織を受け取るように構成されている空洞を画定するように協働する、第1および第2のジョー部材と、
前記第1および第2のジョー部材のうちの少なくとも1つに連結された少なくとも1つの発光要素であって、前記少なくとも1つの発光要素は、光エネルギーを前記第1および第2のジョー部材間に把持された組織に送達し、前記組織を治療するように適合されている少なくとも1つの発光要素と
を含む、医療器具。 - 前記少なくとも1つの発光要素は、介入する光学アセンブリを伴わずに、光を前記組織中に直接放出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記少なくとも1つの発光要素に連結された光学アセンブリをさらに備え、前記光学アセンブリは、前記少なくとも1つの発光要素からから放出された光を前記組織に伝達し、前記組織を所望の照射パターンで照射するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記光学アセンブリは、光ファイバ、屈折要素、反射要素、回折要素、およびそれらの組み合わせのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項3に記載の医療器具。

- 前記少なくとも1つの発光要素は、発光ダイオード、レーザ、およびそれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の医療器具。

- 光の少なくとも1つの特性を測定するように構成されている少なくとも1つの光検出要素をさらに備えている、請求項1に記載の医療器具。
- 前記光の測定された少なくとも1つの特性に基づいて、所望の組織効果が達成されたかどうかを決定するように構成されているコントローラをさらに備えている、請求項11に記載の医療器具。

前記少なくとも1つの光検出要素および前記少なくとも1つの発光要素に連結されたコントローラであって、前記コントローラは、前記組織を通過する前記光エネルギーの前記少なくとも1つの測定された特性に基づいて、前記少なくとも1つの発光要素を制御するように構成されている、コントローラと
を備えている、システム。 - 前記少なくとも1つの発光要素および前記コントローラのうちの少なくとも1つは、前記筐体内に配置されている、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記組織接触表面のうちの少なくとも1つは、その上に配置されている吸収性コーティングを含み、前記吸収性コーティングは、前記少なくとも1つの発光要素から放出される光エネルギーを吸収し、前記第1および第2のジョー部材のうちの少なくとも1つの少なくとも一部を加熱するように構成されている、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記組織接触表面のうちの少なくとも1つは、その上に配置されている反射コーティングを含み、前記反射コーティングは、前記少なくとも1つの発光要素から放出される光エネルギーを反射するように構成されている、請求項14に記載の医療器具。
- 組織を治療する方法であって、

光エネルギーを前記第1および第2のジョー部材間に把持された前記組織に印加することと、
前記組織に印加される前記光エネルギーの少なくとも1つの特性を測定することと、
前記光エネルギーの前記少なくとも1つの測定された特性に基づいて、前記光エネルギーを制御することと
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1および第2のジョー部材のうちの少なくとも1つは、
光エネルギーを前記第1および第2のジョー部材間に把持された組織に送達し、前記組織を治療するように適合されている少なくとも1つの発光要素と、
前記組織に印加された前記光エネルギーの少なくとも1つの特性を測定するように構成されている少なくとも1つの光検出要素と
を含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
