Claims (20)
- 肺高血圧症を改善するために、少なくとも一つの交感神経、神経線維又は神経細胞の活性を低下させるためのデバイスであって、前記デバイスが、
可撓性で長尺状の本体と、
血管を介する前記長尺状の本体の前進を容易にするための第一の低プロファイル構成から、動脈の壁に接触するための第二の膨張された構成へ変化する、前記長尺状の本体と結合された形状変化部材であって、第二の構成にある前記形状変化部材及び前記長尺状の本体の少なくとも一方が、右肺動脈又は左肺動脈の内壁の平均直径と少なくとも同じ大きさの直径を有する、形状変化部材と、
前記少なくとも一つの交感神経、神経線維又は神経細胞の活性を低下させる治療を提供するために前記長尺状の本体と結合された少なくとも一つの神経治療部材と、
を備える、デバイス。 - 前記長尺状の本体が、ワイヤ、ハイポチューブ、コイル及びカテーテルから成る群から選択される少なくとも一つの部材を備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記長尺状の本体が近位部分及び遠位部分を有し、前記形状変化部材及び前記少なくとも一つの神経治療部材が遠位部分と結合されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記少なくとも一つの神経治療部材が、神経にエネルギーを送達するためのエネルギー送達部材を備え、前記エネルギーが、単極高周波、双極高周波、高周波の他の形態、高密度焦点式超音波、低周波数の超音波、超音波の他の形態、マイクロ波、光、熱、寒放射線、光線療法、磁気的、電気的、電磁的、冷凍療法、プラズマ、機械的、化学的、動力学的、潜在的、原子核的、弾性的及び流体力学的エネルギーから成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記少なくとも一つの神経治療部材が、前記長尺状の本体の遠位部分の長さに沿って離隔されている位置に配置された複数のエネルギー送達部材を備える、請求項4に記載のデバイス。
- 前記少なくとも一つの神経治療部材が、神経に物質を送達するための物質送達部材を備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記形状変化部材が、主に直線から湾曲へ前記カテーテルの遠位部分の形状を変化させるために、前記遠位部分と結合された変形可能な部材を備え、前記遠位部分の湾曲形状の直径が、肺動脈幹、右肺動脈又は左肺動脈の内壁の平均直径に近似する、請求項2に記載のデバイス。
- 前記形状変化部材が、膨張可能なバルーン、膨張可能なケージ、マレコット、ステント、膨張可能なリング及び傘状物から成る群から選択される膨張可能な部材を備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 不要な損傷から近くの組織を保護するために、前記治療部材において又はその近傍において前記長尺状の本体の遠位部分と結合された少なくとも一つの保護部材をさらに備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記長尺状の本体と結合され、前記長尺状の本体の遠位端を越えて遠位に通過する材料をトラップするように構成された遠位保護デバイスをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。

可撓性で長尺状の本体と、
血管を介した前記長尺状の本体の前進を容易にするための第一の低プロファイル構成から、動脈の壁に接触するための第二の膨張された構成へ変化する、前記長尺状の本体と結合された形状変化部材であって、第二の構成にある前記形状変化部材及び前記長尺状の本体の少なくとも一方が、右肺動脈又は左肺動脈の内壁の平均直径と少なくとも同じ大きさの直径を有する、形状変化部材と、
前記交感神経、神経線維又は神経細胞の活性を低下させる治療を提供するために、前記長尺状の本体と結合された少なくとも一つの神経治療部材と、
近くの構造への影響を最小限に抑えながら所望の量において前記神経、神経線維又は神経細胞の活性を低下させるために、前記神経治療部材によって送達される治療を制御するための制御ユニットと、
を備える、除神経デバイス、
を備える、システム。 - 前記システムが、前記制御ユニットに方法を実行するように指示するための、前記制御ユニット内の非一時的なコンピュータ可読媒体をさらに備え、前記方法が、
前記治療部材を介して最初の量の治療を提供することと、
異なる量の治療を提供するように前記治療部材を調整することと、
を含む、請求項11に記載のシステム。 - 前記治療部材がエネルギー送達部材を備え、前記コンピュータ可読媒体が、前記制御ユニットに最初の量のエネルギーを提供するように指示し、治療中に第二の量のエネルギーを提供するように前記治療部材を調整する、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記コンピュータ可読媒体が、前記制御ユニットを、
エネルギー源から前記治療部材に送達されるエネルギーの第一の量を感知し、
感知された量に基づいて、送達されるエネルギーの量を変化する、
ように指示するようにさらに構成されている、請求項13に記載のシステム。 - 前記長尺状の本体の近位部分と結合され、前記形状変化部材の形状を変更するために前記形状変化部材まで延びているアクチュエータをさらに備える、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも一つの神経治療部材が、単極高周波、双極高周波、高周波の他の形態、高密度焦点式超音波、低周波数の超音波、超音波の他の形態、マイクロ波、光、熱、寒放射線、光線療法、磁気的、電気的、電磁的、冷凍療法、プラズマ、機械的、化学的、動力学的、潜在的、原子核的、弾性的及び流体力学的エネルギーから成る群から選択されるエネルギーを放出するように構成されたエネルギー送達部材を備える、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも一つの神経治療部材が、生理食塩水、フェノール、エタノール、ビンクリスチン、抗悪性腫瘍薬、ボツリヌス毒素、他の神経毒、例えばマーカイン、ブピバカイン、リドカイン、又は他の麻酔剤などの脱分極薬、非脱分極薬に限定されるものではないが、これらを含む麻酔薬、及び、神経信号伝達を低減することが可能な他の薬剤から成る群から選択される物質を送達するために構成された物質送達部材を備える、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記形状変化部材が、膨張可能なバルーン、膨張可能なケージ、マレコット、ステント、膨張可能なリング及び傘状物から成る群から選択される膨張可能な部材を備える、請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 不要な損傷から近くの組織を保護するために、前記治療部材において又はその近傍において前記長尺状の部材の遠位部分と結合された少なくとも一つの保護部材をさらに備える、請求項11のシステム。
- 前記可撓性で長尺状の本体が、ワイヤ、ハイポチューブ、コイル及びカテーテルから成る群から選択される少なくとも一つの部材を備える、請求項11に記載のシステム。
