Abstract
Description
「不織布消費製品の水洗適用性評価のためのEDANA指針書」の引裂1試験‐FG511.2‐分散性転倒チューブ試験(Tier1 Test−FG511.2−Dispersability Tipping Tube Test)に従ったところ、木材パルプ(Camforパルプ、カナダのブリティッシュコロンビアで育ったトウヒおよびマツ由来の長繊維木材パルプ)と、カット長6mmの1.7dtexのTencel短カット15%(実施例1)またはカット長6mmの1.7dtexのTencel短カット25%(実施例2)との混合物から、叩解プロセスなしに、かつ添加剤の添加なしに作製された湿式抄紙された布(wetlaid fabrics)は、非常に良好な分散性を示した。実施例1によれば、分解されたサイズ画分の100%が12mmのふるい、6mmのふるい、および3mmのふるいさえも通過し、1.5mmのふるいでは、21%が残り、79%が通過している。しかし、表1に示されているように、この布は、縦方向(MD)と横方向(CD)のいずれにおいても、高い機械強度を示さなかった。
木材パルプ(Camforパルプ)と、カット長6mmの1.7dtexのTencel短カット25%との混合物には、このスラリーに0.5%のCMC分散助剤を加えることを含めた。これらの試験では、パルプ/Tencel混合物を連続してディスクリファイナーで1回、コニカルリファイナーで4回、40kWh/tおよび60kWh/tのレベルで叩解した。このスラリーに、アクリル乾燥紙力増強樹脂を1%(乾燥繊維重量を基準として)で加えた。これらの布は分散性を有し、布の引張強度は向上していた(表2)。
80%の木材パルプ(Camforパルプ)と、カット長6mmの1.7dtexのTencel短カット20%との混合物を用いて、湿式抄紙された布を作製した。繊維は、100kWh/tで叩解し、分散助剤としての1%のCMC(乾燥繊維重量基準)を加え、0.5%のエピクロロヒドリン系湿潤紙力増強樹脂(乾燥繊維重量基準)を加えて、湿潤紙力を向上させた(表2)。この布は分散性を有していた。
75%の木材パルプ(Camfor)と、カット長6mmの1.7dtexのTencel短カット25%との混合物を用いて、湿式抄紙された布を作製した。繊維を80kWh/tで叩解し、分散助剤としての1%のCMCを加え、エピクロロヒドリン系湿潤紙力増強樹脂も0.05%、0.10%、0.15%、および0.20%の濃度で加えて、湿潤紙力を向上させた。表3に示されている結果により、すべての試料が分散性を有していたことが示されている。
Claims (19)
- パルプと溶剤紡糸セルロース繊維とを含む分散性不織布であって、前記溶剤紡糸セルロース繊維がフィブリル化されていることを特徴とする分散性不織布。
- 前記フィブリル化溶剤紡糸セルロース繊維が、前記布に対して1〜90重量%、好ましくは5〜40重量%、最も好ましくは10〜30重量%の量で存在することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の分散性不織布。
- 前記フィブリル化溶剤紡糸繊維がリヨセル繊維であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の分散性不織布。
- 前記布の重量が30〜100g/m2、好ましくは40〜60g/m2であり、厚さが0.1〜0.7mmであることを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の分散性不織布。
- 前記布が分散助剤を、前記布に対して0.1〜1重量%、好ましくは0.5〜1重量%の量で含むことを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の分散性不織布。
- 前記布がバインダーを、前記布に対して0.01〜5重量%、好ましくは0.1〜0.5重量%の量で含むことを特徴とする、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の分散性不織布。
- アクリル樹脂またはエピクロロヒドリン系湿潤紙力増強樹脂を前記バインダーとして用いることを特徴とする、先行する請求項の一つに記載の分散性不織布。
- 前記パルプが針葉樹パルプ、広葉樹パルプ、または、アバカもしくは竹などの植物から作られたパルプであることを特徴とする、先行する請求項の一つに記載の分散性不織布。
- 前記布に液体またはローションが含浸されていることを特徴とする、先行する請求項の一つに記載の分散性不織布。
- 前記含浸された布の縦方向における湿潤引張強度が、坪量60g/m2に対して、2〜20N/5cm、好ましくは3〜13N/5cm、最も好ましくは3〜7N/5cmであり、横方向における湿潤引張強度が1〜10N/5cm、好ましくは1〜7N/5cm、最も好ましくは1〜3N/5cmであることを特徴とする、先行する請求項の一つに記載の分散性不織布。
- 「不織布消費製品の水洗適用性評価のためのEDANA指針書(EDANA Guidance Document for Assessing the Flushability of Nonwoven Consumer Products)」の引裂1試験‐FG511.2‐分散性転倒チューブ試験(Tier 1 Test FG 511.2−Dispersability Tipping Tube Test)に従った場合、前記布が水中で攪拌下において分解しており、分解されたサイズ画分の少なくとも95%が12mmのふるいを通過することを特徴とする、先行する請求項の一つに記載の分散性不織布。
- 先行する請求項の一つに記載の分散性不織布の製造方法であって、
a)パルプの水分散液と、溶剤紡糸繊維の水分散液を別々に、または一緒に混合物として準備する工程と、
b1)前記分散液を別々に叩解し、得られたスラリーを混合して密な混合物にして、スラリーを形成する工程、または
b2)パルプと溶剤紡糸繊維との前記混合物を一緒に叩解して、スラリーを形成する工程と、
c)前記スラリーを湿式抄紙し(wet laying)シートを形成する工程と、
d)前記シートを水流交絡させて布を形成する工程と、
を含む方法。 - 工程a)で、前記分散液に分散剤を加えることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 工程b1またはb2)でバインダーを加えることを特徴とする、請求項12または13に記載の方法。
- 前記叩解エネルギーが20〜400kWh/t、好ましくは40〜150kWh/tであることを特徴とする、請求項12〜14のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記溶剤紡糸繊維が、カット長2〜20mm、好ましくは3〜12mm、最も好ましくは4〜10mm、繊度0.9〜6.7dtex、好ましくは1.3〜1.7dtexの短カット繊維であることを特徴とする、請求項12〜15のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記布を薄く切って、折り畳んで、梱包することを特徴とする、請求項12〜16のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 梱包前に、前記布を液体またはローションで処理することを特徴とする、請求項12〜17のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 洗浄および緻密化のためのトイレ用ワイプ、顔用ワイプ、化粧用ワイプ、ベビー用ワイプ、および衛生ワイプのようなドライワイプおよびウェットワイプ、ならびに、パンティライナー、生理用ナプキン、および失禁パッドなどの吸収性衛生用品における、先行する請求項のいずれかに記載の布の使用。
