Abstract
Description
を、反応させるべき量のうちの大部分を入れることと、b)式(II)の化合物の総量のその大部分に相当する量の強塩基(好ましくは例えばNaOH、KOHなどのアルカリ金属水酸化物又はアルカリ土類金属水酸化物)水溶液を計量して入れることと、c)式(II)の化合物の反応させるべき量の残りの分を添加することと、d)少なくともその残りの分に相当する量の弱塩基(好ましくは例えばNa2CO3、K2CO3などのアルカリ金属炭酸塩又はアルカリ土類金属炭酸塩)を添加することと、e)共沸蒸留によって反応混合物から水を除去することと、f)式(III)の化合物を添加することと
(式中、R2は式(I)で定義したとおりである)、g)反応混合物から、得られた式(I)の化合物を分離することとを含んでいる。
(i)式(V)の化合物を
酸性条件下で加水分解してカチオンが式(VI)であるキノリニウム塩の溶液を得ることと
(ii)工程(i)で得た溶液に塩基を添加して遊離カルボン酸(IV)を得ることとを含む、調製方法が提供される。

Claims (25)
- 式(IV)のカルボン酸の調製方法であって
(i)式(V)の化合物を
酸性条件下で加水分解してカチオンが式(VI)であるキノリニウム塩の溶液を得ることと、
(ii)工程(i)で得た溶液に塩基を添加して遊離カルボン酸(IV)を得ることと
を含む、調製方法。 - R1が塩素である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- R2が分岐若しくは直鎖のC1〜C18アルキル、又は分岐若しくは直鎖のC1〜C6アルコキシC1〜C8アルキル−である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- R2が直鎖のC1〜C10アルキル、又は非3級分岐のC3〜C10アルキルである、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- R2が1−メチルヘキシルである、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記酸加水分解工程(i)が酸性条件下で行われる、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記加水分解工程(i)でpKaが1未満の酸を用いる、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記加水分解工程(i)が塩酸水溶液の存在下で行われる、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記加水分解工程(i)において、反応が50〜120℃の温度範囲で行われる、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(ii)における前記塩基が(I)族又は(II)族の金属の酸化物又は炭酸塩を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(ii)で添加される前記塩基が、水酸化リチウム水溶液、水酸化ナトリウム水溶液、又は水酸化カリウム水溶液である、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(ii)における前記塩基が、pHが1.8〜3.8の範囲になるまで添加される、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程(ii)における前記塩基が、pHが2.5〜3.1の範囲になるまで添加される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記塩基添加工程(ii)が30〜240分間かけて行われる、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記加水分解工程(i)で副生成物として生成するR2OHが反応混合物から連続的に除去される、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 得られた前記化合物(IV)を単離する工程を更に含み、任意選択的に得られた化合物(IV)を精製する工程も含んでもよい、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 化合物(IV)を、除草剤と、任意選択的な1種又は複数種の農業上許容可能な担体、補助剤及び/又は賦形剤と混ぜる工程を更に含む、請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 得られた前記カルボン酸(IV)が、DV10が1〜15マイクロメートルの範囲であり、DV50が15〜35マイクロメートルの範囲であり、DV90が35〜70マイクロメートルの範囲であるような体積平均粒径分布を有する、請求項1〜17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 得られた前記カルボン酸(IV)が、DV10が5〜10マイクロメートルであり、DV50が20〜30マイクロメートルであり、DV90が40〜60マイクロメートルであるような体積平均粒径分布を有する、請求項18に記載の方法。

- 少なくとも1種の除草剤と共に請求項22又は23に記載の粒子状カルボン酸(IVa)を含み、任意選択的に1種又は複数種の農業上許容可能な担体、補助剤、及び/又は賦形剤も含んでもよい、除草剤組成物。
- 前記除草剤がピロキシスラム、ピノキサデン、クロジナホップ−プロパギル、及びこれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項24に記載の除草剤組成物。
