Abstract
Description
ここで、試験に際し、図3の概略図で示すように、シール保持具30に試験品(本発明品、比較品)をセットし、その試験品としての本発明品においては、主リップ24を回転盤31の外周円筒面31aに弾性接触させて、ノズル32により、回転盤31とシール保持具30の対向部に形成された隙間34から主リップ24と回転盤31の接触部に水蒸気を噴射して、主リップ32とサイドリップ25の対向部間に保持させたグリースの含水率を測定した。
一方、試験品としての比較品においては、芯金40に保持された弾性リング41の内周のリップ42を回転盤31の外周円筒面31aに弾性接触させて、ノズル32により、回転盤31とシール保持具30の対向部に形成された隙間34からリップ42と回転盤31の接触部に水蒸気を噴射して、リップ42の背部に形成された環状溝43に保持させたグリースの含水率を測定した。
いずれのグリースにおいても、含水率0.23%のものを採用した。
表2は試験条件を示す。

Claims (4)
- 外周の端部に設けられた小つばが向き合い、その小つばの端面に形成されたインロー部が互いに突き合わされた一対の複列内輪を有し、その一対の複列内輪の互いに突き合わされたインロー部の外側に中間シールを装着して、前記突合せ部をシールした複列円すいころ軸受において、
前記中間シールが、前記インロー部の外径面に弾性接触される主リップを内周に有し、その主リップが弾性接触される前記インロー部のシール摺接面の面粗さRaを1.2μm以下とし、前記主リップのシール摺接面に対する軸受外部側面の接触角をα、軸受内部側面の接触角をβとしたとき、α>βとしたことを特徴とする複列円すいころ軸受。 - 前記主リップの締め代比が、2.5×10−3〜7.5×10−3とされた請求項1に記載の複列円すいころ軸受。
- 前記中間シールが、前記インロー部の付け根における小つばの端面に弾性接触するサイドリップを有し、そのサイドリップが摺接される前記小つばのシール摺接面の面粗さRaを6μm以下とし、前記サイドリップのシール摺接面に対する軸受外部側面の接触角をγ、軸受内部側面の接触角をδとしたとき、γ>δとした請求項1又は2に記載の複列円すいころ軸受。
- 前記サイドリップの締め代比が、0.02〜0.1とされた請求項3に記載の複列円すいころ軸受。
