Abstract
【解決手段】3次元の物体の印刷中に、動作不能インクジェットを検知する装置であって、材料の小滴が下地上に吐出される領域内の光学密度を変化させるリバーシブル感熱下地を含み、材料の小滴が下地上に吐出された後、光学センサが下地の画像データを生成420し、これらの画像データを分析して、動作不能インクジェットを特定424する検知・制御装置を備えている3次元の物体を作成する装置。

Claims (9)
- インクジェットと共に構成されて、材料の小滴を吐出する印刷ヘッドと、
前記印刷ヘッドの向かい側の位置に移動して、前記印刷ヘッドから吐出される小滴を受け取るよう構成される感熱下地と、
前記感熱下地上の小滴に対応するデータを生成するよう構成される光学センサと、
前記光学センサが、前記感熱下地上の小滴の画像データを生成することができるよう、前記下地を前記光学センサの向かい側の位置に移動させるよう構成される搬送部と、
前記搬送部、前記光学センサ、および前記印刷ヘッドに操作可能に接続する制御装置であって、前記感熱下地が前記印刷ヘッドの向かい側の位置に静止している間に、前記印刷ヘッドを操作して各インクジェットから前記感熱下地上に所定の数の小滴を吐出させ、前記所定の数の小滴でインクジェットごとに前記感熱下地の上にテストドットの形成を可能にし、前記光学センサを操作して前記感熱下地の画像データを生成し、前記感熱下地上の前記テストドットに対応する、前記光学センサから受け取られる画像データを参照して、前記印刷ヘッド内の動作不能インクジェットを特定するよう構成される制御装置と、を含むプリンタ。 - 前記感熱下地が、リバーシブル感熱下地である、請求項1に記載のプリンタ。
