現在符号化単位で可能な最小変換単位サイズ「CurrMinTuSize」と比較し、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである「RootTuSize」は、システム上採択可能な最大変換単位サイズを示すことができる。すなわち、関係式(1)によれば、「RootTuSize/(2^MaxTransformSizeIndex)」は、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである「RootTuSize」を最大変換単位分割情報に相応する回数ほど分割した変換単位サイズであり、「MinTransformSize」は、最小変換単位サイズであるから、それらのうち小さい値が現在符号化単位で可能な最小変換単位サイズ「CurrMinTuSize」であってもよい。
すなわち、現在予測モードがインターモードであるならば、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである「RootTuSize」は、最大変換単位サイズ及び現在予測単位サイズのうち小さい値に設定される。
すなわち、現在予測モードがイントラモードであるならば、変換単位分割情報が0である場合の変換単位サイズである「RootTuSize」は、最大変換単位サイズ及び現在パーティション単位サイズのうち小さい値に設定される。

Claims (3)
- 映像復号化装置において、
ビットストリームから複数の最大符号化単位の符号化された映像データ及び前記複数の最大符号化単位のうち一つの最大符号化単位に含まれた符号化単位の分割情報を獲得する獲得部と、
前記複数の最大符号化単位をラスタスキャン順序によって復号化し、前記最大符号化単位に含まれた符号化単位をジグザグスキャン順序によって復号化する復号化部を備え、
前記最大符号化単位は、前記分割情報によって前記現在深度及び下位深度のうち少なくとも一つを含む深度の符号化単位で空間的に分割され、
前記分割情報が前記現在深度で分割されることを示す時、前記現在深度の符号化単位は隣接符号化単位と独立して下位深度の4つの符号化単位で分割され、前記分割情報が前記下位深度で分割されないことを示す時、前記下位深度の符号化単位で少なくとも一つの予測単位が獲得され、
前記下位深度の4つの符号化単位についてのジグザグスキャン順序は前記4つの符号化単位についてのラスタスキャン順序と同じであり、
前記予測単位は、パーティションタイプ情報によって前記下位深度の符号化単位に基づいて決定されることを特徴とする映像復号化装置。 - 前記復号化部は、前記最大符号化単位及び前記最大符号化単位に含まれ同じ符号化深度を有する符号化単位のスキャン順序による前記隣接情報の利用可能性を確認することによって前記隣接情報を参照することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の映像復号化装置。
- 前記復号化部は、前記最大符号化単位の前記符号化単位の利用可能性を確認することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の映像復号化装置。
