Abstract
【解決手段】用紙の位置を検出し、バイアス転写ロールの位置を判定し、用紙の位置とバイアス転写ロールの位置との間のオフセットを計算し、バイアス転写ロールを用紙と位置合わせするために、このオフセットの量だけバイアス転写ロールを横方向に移動させる。

Claims (4)
- バイアス転写ロールを位置合わせする方法であって、
プロセッサが、前記プロセッサと通信する少なくとも1つのレジストセンサを介して、用紙の端部の位置を検出することと、
前記プロセッサが、前記バイアス転写ロールの端部の位置を判定することと、
前記プロセッサが、前記用紙の前記端部の前記位置と、前記バイアス転写ロールの前記端部の前記位置との間のオフセットを計算することと、
前記プロセッサが、前記バイアス転写ロールの前記端部を前記用紙の前記端部と位置合わせするために、前記バイアス転写ロールを前記オフセットの量だけ横方向に移動させることと、
前記プロセッサが、異なる印刷物に均一な画像を提供するために、前記移動させることの後に、前記バイアス転写ロールの、他のすべての印刷物に使用された部分と同じ部分を使用して、前記画像を前記用紙に印刷することとを含む、
方法。 - 前記プロセッサが、前記バイアス転写ロールを前記オフセットの量だけ横方向に移動させることに加えて、前記用紙に印刷される感光体上の画像を、前記用紙と位置合わせすることをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バイアス転写ローラを、機械的手段を介して横方向に移動させる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記機械的手段がリードスクリューを含み、前記バイアス転写ロールが、横方向に移動するために前記リードスクリューを中心として回転する、請求項3に記載の方法。
