Description

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for cutting a gold foil into a desired shape and taking out the cut gold foil piece.

Gold foil is manufactured by repeatedly striking and spreading a stack of sheets with interleaving paper, and is provided in a state where the sheets cut to a predetermined size are stacked alternately with the interleaf Is done.

The provided gold foil is peeled off one by one, but one gold foil is very thin, and even a slight turbulence of air causes it to bend and shrink or bend. I need.

In recent years, small pieces of gold leaf have been affixed on the surface of foods such as confectionery or floated on beverages such as liquor. The gold foil pieces used for such a purpose are usually rectangular or indeterminate, but there has been a demand for imparting a higher degree of decoration using gold foil pieces of various shapes.

The gold foil can be cut with a laser cutting machine, and can be cut into an arbitrary figure by irradiating a laser beam along a closed curve. However, even if the gold foil is cut into a desired shape, a high level of skill is required to take out the cut gold foil piece. In the production or provision of food and beverages, there is no expert who handles gold leaf, so it is difficult to take out the obtained gold leaf piece and attach it to articles such as confectionery.

This invention was made for the purpose of obtaining a technical means that enables a gold foil piece cut into a predetermined shape, for example, a figure such as a heart shape or a triangle, to a food or other article. It is an object of the present invention to obtain a gold foil cutting method and a cutting device used therefor, which can be cut into gold foil pieces of a desired shape, and the cut gold foil pieces can be easily transported and pasted.

The gold foil cutting method according to the present invention includes a masking sheet 3 in which a figure of a gold foil g to be cut is separately applied in a painted area 31 and a white area 32, and plotting data (generally CAD data) registered in the controller 13. Using the laser cutting machine 1 (1a, 1b) capable of controlling the irradiation position of the laser beam based on the above, the screen printing plate 2 in which the photosensitive emulsion is applied to the mesh, and the charged sheet 5, the gold foil is processed in the following procedure. Cut and take out g.
(A) A masking sheet 3 is attached to the screen printing plate 2a, and exposure and washing of the emulsion are performed to produce a screen printing plate 2 onto which the graphic 31 is transferred (hereinafter referred to as “transferred printing plate”).
(B) The transferred printing plate 2 b is positioned on the table 11 of the laser cutting machine 1.
(C) A gold foil g is attached on a breathable sheet 4 such as rayon paper and placed on the transferred printing plate 2b.
(D) A laser beam having a strength for cutting only the gold foil g is irradiated along the outline of the transferred pattern 21 transferred to the transferred printing plate 2b.
(E) While applying a negative pressure to the table 11, an air flow is blown onto the transferred printing plate 2b to blow away and remove the gold foil g2 except for the graphic part. The removed gold foil is collected.
(F) A sheet (charged sheet) 5 such as a charged nylon sheet or wax paper is inserted on the transferred printing plate 2b so as to cover the gold foil piece g1, and the negative pressure of the table 11 is released.
(G) The charging sheet 5 is taken out. The cut gold foil piece g1 is taken out together with the charging sheet 5.
(H) The taken-out gold foil piece g1 is packaged in a state of being attached to the charging sheet 5.

In order to cut out and extract the gold foil into a desired shape by the method of the present invention, the gold foil g is irradiated by irradiating the laser beam along the contour of the transferred pattern 21 of the transferred printing plate 2b placed on the table 11 of the laser cutting machine. Need to be cut off.

As shown in the examples below, this is necessary when the gold foil g is cut with a laser cutter and the masking sheet 3 having the graphic transferred to the screen printing plate 2a is positioned on the transferred printing plate 2b in the same manner. Irradiate a laser beam to position the transferred printing plate 2b on the table 11 or draw a mask with a laser beam on the sheet on the screen printing plate 2a positioned at the same position as when cutting the gold foil. It can be realized by making the sheet 3 or reading the figure of the masking sheet 3 positioned on the transferred printing plate 2b on the table with a camera and registering it in the controller 13 of the laser cutting machine.

By doing so, when a negative pressure is supplied to the table 11 and an air flow is applied to blow off the gold foil, only the gold foil piece g1 cut out to the desired figure is adsorbed and remains, and the gold foil g2 other than the figure part is blown off. .

Then, if the charging sheet 5 is attached on the gold foil piece g1 and the negative pressure of the table 11 is released, the gold foil piece g1 is adsorbed to the charging sheet 5, so that the charging sheet 5 is taken out and conveyed, if necessary. By packaging, it becomes possible to easily take out, convey and package the gold foil piece g1. Then, by making a potential difference in the opposite direction between the charged sheet and the article to which the gold foil is attached, it becomes easy to attach the gold foil to the decoration object.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. 1 to 7 show the first embodiment.

The laser cutting machine 1a used in the first embodiment includes a table 11, a laser transmitter 12, and a controller 13. The controller 13 controls the beam irradiation position of the laser transmitter 12 based on the read drawing data (generally CAD data). The table 11 has a frame shape, and the inner side 14 of the frame is connected to a blower inlet (not shown). A nozzle 15 that allows an air flow to flow in the inner region on the upper surface of the table is provided above the back side as viewed from the operator of the table 11, and this nozzle is connected to a discharge port of a fan (not shown). The table 11 is provided with a fixture 16 for fixing the screen printing plate 2 (2a, 2b) placed thereon.

Next, the gold foil cutting method according to the first embodiment will be described. A drawing in which a desired figure is arranged by CAD software, a masking sheet 3 in which the figure 31 is painted and printed on paper, and a positioning sheet in which the outline 61 and the positioning mark 63 of the figure are printed on the same size paper 6 is printed.

Next, in a state where one corner of the masking sheet 3 is positioned in accordance with the corner inside the frame of the screen printing plate 2a, the masking sheet 3 is irradiated with ultraviolet rays L (FIG. 2), and then the screen printing plate is washed with water. The transferred printing plate 2b to which the graphic 31 is transferred is obtained (FIG. 3).

The emulsion applied to the mesh of the screen printing plate 2a is cured in the area irradiated with ultraviolet rays, and the emulsion of the graphic part shielded from ultraviolet rays by painting is not cured, and is washed away by washing with water. Is a region through which air can pass, and thus air can pass through.

The positioning sheet 6 is positioned on the inner corner of the transferred printing plate 2b like the masking sheet 3 and placed on the table 11 of the laser cutting machine. Then, the CAD data used for graphic printing is registered in the controller 13 of the laser cutting machine. Then, the laser beam with weak output is irradiated to the origin position of the CAD data, and the position of the transferred printing plate 2 b is adjusted so that the laser spot coincides with the positioning mark 63 of the positioning sheet 6. Secure to the table 11.

If the contour 61 of the figure is printed on the positioning sheet 6, the laser spot can be confirmed by controlling the laser spot with the CAD data of the controller at the time of this alignment.

When the transferred printing plate 2b is fixed on the table 11, the positioning sheet 6 is removed, and the gold foil g to be cut is placed on the breathable sheet 4 and placed on the transferred printing plate 2b. The alignment at this time may be a rough alignment so that the figure to be cut out does not protrude from the periphery of the gold foil g.

Then, a negative pressure is applied to the inside of the table 11 and a laser beam set to an intensity at which only the gold foil g is cut is irradiated along the outline of the CAD data figure to cut the periphery of the figure (FIG. 5). .

By positioning the transferred printing plate 2b on the table 11, the locus of the laser beam when cutting the gold foil matches the contour of the transferred pattern 21 of the transferred printing plate.

Therefore, the graphic part (gold foil piece) of the gold foil cut out by the laser beam is adsorbed to the air permeable sheet 4 by the negative pressure acting through the air permeable sheet 4 and the transfer graphic 21 of the transferred printing plate from which the emulsion has been removed. The air-permeable sheet 4 is also adsorbed to the transferred printing plate 2b.

The portion g2 other than the figure of the gold foil is not adsorbed because it is blocked by the cured emulsion layer of the transferred printing plate 2b and no negative pressure acts. Therefore, by blowing an air flow from the air nozzle 15 onto the air-permeable sheet 4, the gold foil g2 other than the graphic portion is blown off and collected.

After stopping the outflow of air from the air nozzle 15, the charging sheet 5 is placed on the air-permeable sheet 4 so as to cover the gold foil piece g1 cut into a desired shape, and the negative pressure of the table 11 is released to release the charging sheet. If 5 is taken out, the cut gold foil piece g1 can be taken out in a lump in a state where it is adsorbed to the charging sheet 5. By selecting the material of the breathable sheet 4, the gold foil piece g <b> 1 can be taken out while being sandwiched between the charging sheet 5 and the breathable sheet 4.

The taken-out gold foil piece g1 can be packaged while being adsorbed on the charging sheet 5 and provided to the customer.

8 and 9 are diagrams showing a second embodiment. In the laser cutting machine 1b used in the second embodiment, a positioning tool 17 for the screen printing plate 2 is attached to a table 11.

In the second embodiment, the masking sheet 3 is prepared by a laser cutting machine. First, a paper to be a masking sheet is attached to a screen printing plate 2a on which no graphic is transferred, with one corner positioned at one inner corner of the screen printing plate, and the screen printing plate 2a is further attached to the table. It is positioned on the positioning tool 17 and placed on the table 11 of the laser cutting machine.

Then, the laser beam is irradiated on the paper 30 on the screen printing plate 2a based on the CAD data for drawing a desired figure. The intensity of the laser beam at this time is comparable to that when cutting the gold foil.

Since the contour of the figure is expressed as a burnt mark on the paper 30 irradiated with the laser beam, the masking sheet 3 is obtained by painting the inside thereof. Using this masking sheet, a transferred printing plate 2b to which a figure has been transferred is prepared in the same procedure as in the first embodiment, and the printing plate is fixed to the table 11 while being positioned by the positioning tool 17.

At this time, since the transferred printing plate 2b is positioned at the same position as when the figure is drawn on the paper 30 which is the masking sheet, the masking sheet is used when the figure is drawn and when the ultraviolet ray is irradiated. Are positioned at the same position, the position of the contour line of the transferred pattern 21 of the transferred printing plate positioned by the positioning tool 17 coincides with the scanning position of the laser beam. Therefore, in the case of the second embodiment, manual alignment of the transferred printing plate 2b on the table 11 is not necessary.

The procedure after positioning the transferred printing plate 2b on the table 11 of the laser cutting machine in this way is the same as the procedure in the first embodiment.
