Claims (4)
- 基板上にパラジウム層とリチウム層がコーティングされてなり、
前記リチウム層表面に荷電粒子を照射することにより中性子を発生させる中性子発生用ターゲットであって、
前記パラジウム層と前記リチウム層との間に、パラジウム及びリチウムの双方に対して共晶合金を形成しない金属からなるバリア層を備えることを特徴とする中性子発生用ターゲット。 - バリア層は、銅、鉄、ニッケル、コバルト、チタン、ジルコニウムの金属又はこれらの合金からなる請求項1記載の中性子発生用ターゲット。
- バリア層は、その厚さが0.5〜5μmである請求項1又は請求項2記載の中性子発生用ターゲット。
- 請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載の中性子発生用ターゲットに用いられる構造体であって、
基板、前記基板上に形成されたパラジウム層、更に、前記パラジウム層上に形成され、パラジウム及びリチウムの双方に対して共晶合金を形成しない金属からなるバリア層、よりなる中性子発生用ターゲット用の構造体。
