Claims (4)
- 異方性主相合金に希土類元素を拡散させて希土類磁石を製造する方法であって、
前記異方性主相合金からなるバルク体に前記希土類元素を含む拡散合金体を近接配置させて加熱する工程において、前記バルク体の磁化容易方向の膨張に対する拘束力を与えつつ前記希土類元素を拡散させることを特徴とする希土類磁石の製造方法。 - 前記拡散合金体はスラリーとして前記バルク体の表面に塗布して与えることを特徴とする請求項1記載の希土類磁石の製造方法。
- 前記拡散合金体は前記希土類元素を含む共晶合金からなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の希土類磁石の製造方法。
- 離間配置されて前記磁化容易方向における前記バルク体の寸法以上の間隙を有する一対の治具の間に前記バルク体を載置し、前記拘束力は前記バルク体の磁化容易方向への膨張によって前記間隙を押し広げるようにして付加されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の希土類磁石の製造方法。
