Claims (3)
- 軸線回りに回転されるドリル本体の先端部外周に切屑排出溝が形成されるとともに、上記ドリル本体の先端には切刃が設けられたドリルであって、上記切屑排出溝のドリル回転方向を向く壁面は、上記軸線に直交する断面において第1の円弧に沿った凹曲線状とされるとともに、該壁面に連なって上記ドリル本体の外周側を向く上記切屑排出溝の底面は、上記軸線に直交する断面において上記ドリル本体先端部の心厚円に外接する第2の円弧に沿った凹曲線状とされており、上記第1の円弧は、上記第2の円弧よりも半径が大きく、上記第2の円弧と上記心厚円との接点よりもリーディングエッジ側で該第2の円弧と接していることを特徴とするドリル。
- 上記軸線に直交する断面において上記第1、第2の円弧の接点は、上記軸線から上記切刃の外径Dに対して0.1×D〜0.35×Dの範囲に位置していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のドリル。
- 上記切刃の外径Dに対して、上記第1の円弧の半径は1.0×D〜3.0×Dの範囲とされるとともに、上記第2の円弧の半径が0.2×D〜0.4×Dの範囲とされていることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のドリル。
