Abstract
Description
前記排気ブレーキ作動前後の燃料噴射量の変化量の絶対値と、前記排気ブレーキ作動前後の吸入空気量の変化量の絶対値とに基づき、前記燃料噴射量の変化量の絶対値が燃料噴射変化量閾値以上で且つ前記吸入空気量の変化量の絶対値が吸入空気変化量閾値以上であるときに排気ブレーキが正常に作動していると判定し、前記燃料噴射量の変化量の絶対値が燃料噴射変化量閾値未満で且つ前記吸入空気量の変化量の絶対値が吸入空気変化量閾値未満であるときに、前記排気ブレーキに作動不良が生じていると判定する診断回路を備えたことを特徴とする排気ブレーキの故障診断装置にかかるものである。

と、前記排気ブレーキ10作動前後の吸入空気量24aの変化量の絶対値

A2:排気ブレーキ10作動後の吸入空気量
とに基づき、前記燃料噴射量23aの変化量の絶対値αが燃料噴射変化量閾値α0以上(α≧α0)で且つ前記吸入空気量24aの変化量の絶対値βが吸入空気変化量閾値β0以上(β≧β0)であるときに排気ブレーキ10が正常に作動していると判定し、前記燃料噴射量23aの変化量の絶対値αが燃料噴射変化量閾値α0未満(α<α0)で且つ前記吸入空気量24aの変化量の絶対値βが吸入空気変化量閾値β0未満(β<β0)であるときに、前記排気ブレーキ10に作動不良が生じていると判定するよう構成してある。

Claims (2)
- エンジンの排気管途中に設けられる排気浄化用の後処理装置をアイドリング時に所要温度に昇温させるよう排気流量を絞り込む排気ブレーキの故障診断装置であって、
前記排気ブレーキ作動前後の燃料噴射量の変化量の絶対値と、前記排気ブレーキ作動前後の吸入空気量の変化量の絶対値とに基づき、前記燃料噴射量の変化量の絶対値が燃料噴射変化量閾値以上で且つ前記吸入空気量の変化量の絶対値が吸入空気変化量閾値以上であるときに排気ブレーキが正常に作動していると判定し、前記燃料噴射量の変化量の絶対値が燃料噴射変化量閾値未満で且つ前記吸入空気量の変化量の絶対値が吸入空気変化量閾値未満であるときに、前記排気ブレーキに作動不良が生じていると判定する診断回路を備えたことを特徴とする排気ブレーキの故障診断装置。 - 前記診断回路は、前記燃料噴射量の変化量の絶対値が燃料噴射変化量閾値以上で且つ前記吸入空気量の変化量の絶対値が吸入空気変化量閾値未満であるときに診断を行わない第一診断回避領域と、前記燃料噴射量の変化量の絶対値が燃料噴射変化量閾値未満で且つ前記吸入空気量の変化量の絶対値が吸入空気変化量閾値以上であるときに診断を行わない第二診断回避領域とを設定している請求項1記載の排気ブレーキの故障診断装置。
