Abstract
Description
a)リグノセルロース物質を含む供給物を水の存在下で前処理温度で、2価の陽イオンを含むアルカリ剤により前処理して、アルカリで前処理されたリグノセルロース物質の水性スラリーを得ること、ここで上記2価の陽イオンは、カルシウムまたはマグネシウムの陽イオンである、
b)アルカリで前処理されたリグノセルロース物質の上記スラリーの少なくとも一部を醗酵ゾーンに供給し、そして前処理されたリグノセルロース物質を醗酵ゾーンで加水分解酵素および、サッカリドを有機酸に転化することができる微生物の存在下で酵素による加水分解および醗酵に付して、不溶リグノセルロース、上記2価の陽イオンによる上記有機酸の析出した塩および溶解した塩、および酵素を含む醗酵ブロスを得ること、
c)工程(b)で得られた醗酵ブロスを醗酵ゾーンから排出すること、
d)上記醗酵ブロスから、上記有機酸の溶解した塩を含む液相と不溶リグノセルロースおよび上記有機酸の析出した塩を含む固相とを分離すること、および
e)上記液相の少なくとも一部をアルカリ前処理工程a)および/または醗酵ゾーンに再循環すること
を含む。

Claims (16)
- リグノセルロースを有機酸に転化する方法において、下記工程:
a)リグノセルロース物質を含む供給物を水の存在下で前処理温度で、2価の陽イオンを含むアルカリ剤により前処理して、アルカリで前処理されたリグノセルロース物質の水性スラリーを得ること、ここで上記2価の陽イオンは、カルシウムまたはマグネシウムの陽イオンである、
b)アルカリで前処理されたリグノセルロース物質の該スラリーの少なくとも一部を醗酵ゾーンに供給し、そして前処理されたリグノセルロース物質を醗酵ゾーンで加水分解酵素および、サッカリドを有機酸に転化することができる微生物の存在下で酵素による加水分解および醗酵に付して、不溶リグノセルロース、上記2価の陽イオンによる上記有機酸の析出した塩および溶解した塩、および酵素を含む醗酵ブロスを得ること、
c)工程(b)で得られた醗酵ブロスを醗酵ゾーンから排出すること、
d)上記醗酵ブロスから、上記有機酸の溶解した塩を含む液相と不溶リグノセルロースおよび上記有機酸の析出した塩を含む固相とを分離すること、および
e)上記液相の少なくとも一部をアルカリ前処理工程a)および/または醗酵ゾーンに再循環すること
を含む、前記方法。 - 前記液相の少なくとも一部が工程a)に再循環される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記液相の少なくとも50体積%が工程a)に再循環される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 醗酵ゾーンが少なくとも2の醗酵器を直列で含み、工程c)において醗酵ブロスが直列の最後の醗酵器から排出される、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程d)で得られた固相を水により10〜50℃の範囲の温度で洗浄して洗浄された固相および洗浄水を得ること、および上記洗浄水の少なくとも一部を工程a)に供給することをさらに含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記有機酸の塩を固相から回収することをさらに含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 工程d)で得られた固相を、任意的に洗浄の後に、水により60〜100℃の範囲の温度で抽出して、前記有機酸の塩の溶液および抽出された固相を得ることを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記溶液を冷却して前記有機酸の析出した塩を得ることおよび該析出した塩を固体形態で回収することをさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記有機酸の塩が醗酵生成物へと醗酵され、そして該醗酵生成物が生成物として回収されるところの醗酵工程をさらに含む、請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記醗酵工程中にさらなる酸が添加され、そして該さらなる酸のカルシウム塩またはマグネシウム塩が共生成物として前記醗酵工程において形成される、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記抽出された固相を発電装置に供給して電気および廃熱を発生させることをさらに含む、請求項7〜10のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 供給物が炭酸カルシウムを含む紙を含み、酸化カルシウムが発電装置において形成され、かつ発電装置で形成された酸化カルシウムがアルカリ剤としてアルカリ前処理工程a)に再循環される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 発生した廃熱が、工程a)における前処理温度を達成するために使用される、請求項11または12に記載の方法。
- 微生物が乳酸産生微生物であり、有機酸が乳酸である、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 供給物がタンパク質を含む、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- アミノ酸および/またはペプチドが、醗酵ブロスから分離された液相から回収される、請求項15に記載の方法。
