15重量%〜25重量%の鉄(Fe)、
10重量%〜25重量%の炭化タングステン(WC)、
30重量%〜40重量%のクロム(Cr)、
10重量%〜25重量%のニッケル(Ni)、
10重量%〜25重量%のモリブデン(Mo)、
1重量%〜10重量%の炭素(C)、
0.1重量%〜2重量%のケイ素(Si)。
ここで、Crは元素形態で、且つ/又はCr2C3の形態の炭化物として存在する。
10重量%〜25重量%のWC及び
5重量%〜30重量%のCr2C3
が含まれる。
以下の耐摩耗コーティングを相互に比較した。
V1:対照としてのMo及びCr2C3−NiCrの複合材(商用名MKP200、Federal-Mogulからの規格品)、及び
V2:二相混合物(相1:Mo+Cr2C3−NiCr、相:FeCrベース+WC/Cr2C3−NiCr)、ここで、
V2a:相1対相2の混合比=40/60
V2b:相1対相2の混合比=25/75
微細構造、気孔率及び硬度、並びに摩耗性能及びスカッフィング性能を、種々の変種について試験した。
Claims (14)
- ピストンリングの耐摩耗コーティングであって、
15重量%〜25重量%の鉄(Fe)、
10重量%〜25重量%の炭化タングステン(WC)、
30重量%〜40重量%のクロム(Cr)、
10重量%〜25重量%のニッケル(Ni)、
10重量%〜25重量%のモリブデン(Mo)、
1重量%〜10重量%の炭素(C)、
0.1重量%〜2重量%のケイ素(Si)
を含み、Crは元素形態で、且つ/又はCr2C3の形態の炭化物として存在する耐摩耗コーティング。 - 請求項1に記載の耐摩耗層であって、15重量%〜50重量%の炭化物の全比率において以下の炭化物濃度:
10重量%〜25重量%のWC及び
5重量%〜30重量%のCr2C3
が含まれる耐摩耗層。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の耐摩耗層を塗布する方法であって、
(i)粉末形態の構成成分を供給するステップと、
(ii)前記構成成分を基板に高速フレーム溶射するステップ(HVOFプロセス)と
を含む方法。 - 請求項3に記載の方法において、元素粉末の粒径が1μm〜80μmの範囲にあり、用いる炭化物の粒径が0.1μm〜5μmの範囲にある方法。
- 請求項4に記載の方法において、前記炭化物は、造粒焼結粒子として又は一次析出炭化物として存在する方法。
- 請求項5に記載の方法において、前記炭化物をNiCrマトリックスに埋設する方法。
- 請求項3〜6のいずれか1項において、前記基板はピストンリングである方法。
- 請求項7に記載の方法において、前記ピストンリングは鋳鉄又は鋼ピストンリングである方法。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の耐摩耗層で被覆したことを特徴とするピストンリング。
- 請求項9に記載のピストンリングにおいて、コーティングの層厚が20μm〜1000μmの範囲にあるピストンリング。
- 請求項9又は10に記載のピストンリングにおいて、前記コーティングの硬度が550HV1〜950HV1の範囲にあるピストンリング。
- 請求項9〜11のいずれか1項に記載のピストンリングにおいて、前記コーティングをHVOFプロセスで塗布したピストンリング。
- 請求項9〜11のいずれか1項に記載のピストンリングにおいて、前記コーティングを請求項3〜6のいずれか1項に記載のプロセスで塗布したピストンリング。
- 請求項9〜13のいずれか1項に記載のピストンリングにおいて、該ピストンリングは鋳鉄又は鋼ピストンリングであるピストンリング。
