Claims (13)
- チップ取付けシャフト(112、610、1110)と、前記チップ取付けシャフトに取付け可能なピペット・チップ(114、210、410、710、910)とを有するエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット(110)であって、前記ピペット・チップが、開口近位端(213、713)及び狭い開口遠位端(312、812)を備えた概ね細長い筒状構成を有するエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット(110)において、
前記開口近位端が、内側を向いたシーリング領域(214、714、1414、1716)を有し、また
前記ピペットが、前記ピペット・チップの前記開口近位端を貫通するピストン(612、1112、1516、1718、1918、2234)を含み、前記ピペット・チップの前記シーリング領域は、前記チップが前記シャフトに取り付けられたとき、前記ピストンに対して気密シールを形成する
ことを特徴とするエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。 - 前記シーリング領域(214、714、1414、1716)が、突出したシーリング・リング(214、714)を含むことをさらに特徴とする、請求項1に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記シーリング・リング(214、714)が、前記ピストン(612、1112、1516、1718、1918、2234)の直径よりわずかに小さい直径を有することをさらに特徴とする、請求項2に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記チップ(114、210、410、710、910)が前記シャフト(112、610、1110)に取り付けられていないとき、前記シーリング領域(214、714、1414、1716)が、前記ピストン(612、1112、1516、1718、1918、2234)の直径とほぼ等しい、又はわずかに大きい直径を有することをさらに特徴とする、請求項1に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記チップ(114、210、410、710、910)が前記シャフトに取り付けられているとき、前記シーリング領域(214、714、1414、1716)が、前記取付けシャフト(112、610、1110)によって前記ピストン(612、1112、1516、1718、1918、2234)に押し付けられることをさらに特徴とする、請求項4に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記ピストン(612、1112、1516、1718、1918、2234)が前記ピストンと前記チップとの間の前記気密シールを通って移動するときに前記チップが前記ピペット(110)に対して軸方向に移動することを防ぐための、前記ピペット・チップ取付けシャフト(112、610、1110)及び前記ピペット・チップ(114、210、410、710、910)の協働構造(617、1117)によってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記ピペット・チップへの取付けシャフトの貫通の深度を確実に均一にするように、前記協働構造(617、1117)が、前記取付けシャフト(112、610、1110)における前記チップ(114、210、410、710、910)の軸方向移動をさらに制限する、請求項6に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記協働構造(617、1117)が、前記シャフト(112、610、1110)及び前記ピペット・チップ(114、210、410、710、910)の一方の表面の少なくとも1つの凹部(616、1116、1714、1924)と、前記シャフト及び前記ピペット・チップの他方の表面の少なくとも1つの対応する突起(216、716、1712、1814、1922)とを有する、請求項6に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記凹部(616、1116、1714、1924)及び前記突起(216、716、1712、1814、1922)が互いに連結する、請求項8に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記協働構造(617、1117)が、前記シャフト(112、610、1110)の内面(618、1118)と摩擦係合する前記ピペット・チップ(114、210、410、710、910)の取付け部分(212、712)の外面(217、717)を含む、請求項6に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記ピペット・チップ(114、210、410、710、910)から径方向外向きに延びる周縁棚状部(222、614、722、1114)によってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記ピペット・チップ(114、210、410、710、910)の取付け部分(212、712)を形成する取付けセグメント(412、912)、及び前記ピペット・チップの液体ハンドリング部分(220、720)を形成する液体ハンドリング・セグメント(414、914)であって、互いに嵌合して気密シールを形成する前記取付けセグメント及び前記液体ハンドリング・セグメントによってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
- 前記ピペット・チップ(114、210、410、710、910)の前記取付けセグメント(412、912)と前記液体ハンドリング・セグメント(414、419)との間に保持された膜フィルタ(416、916)によってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項12に記載のエア・ディスプレイスメント・ピペット。
