Abstract
Description
この試験は、300ppmのSiO2(ケイ酸ナトリウムより)、80ppmのMg(硫酸マグネシウムより)、100ppmの全アルカリ度(重炭酸ナトリウムより)、200ppmのカルシウム(塩化カルシウムより)を含む試験溶液を用いて行った。試験溶液のpHは8.5〜9.0に調整した。この試験溶液に、炭酸カルシウム防止剤として一定量(2ppm)の2−ホスホノブタン−1,2,4−トリカルボン酸(一般に、PBTCと呼ばれる)と、量を変えながらシリカ防止剤を加えた。これらの試料を60℃で恒温にした。時間を変えて試料を採取し、2.5μmのフィルタで濾過後、pH7〜7.5でシリカを分析した。試料1は、50/50のアクリル酸(AA)/メタクリル酸ポリエトキシ(HEMA)(40%活性物)であった。試料2は、40/60のAA/ヒドロキシポリエトキシアリルエーテル(AAE)(40%活性物)であった。試料3は、50/50のAA/AAE(40%活性物)であった。試料4は、60/40のAA/AAE(40%活性物)であった。
この実験では、次の水を用いた。カルシウム(Ca)12mg/L;マグネシウム(Mg)4.0mg/L;カリウム(K)2.5mg/L、2.6mg/L;シリカ(SiO2)89mg/L;ナトリウム(Na)13mg/L;塩化物(Cl)4.3mg/L;硝酸塩(NO3)1.6mg/L;硫酸塩(SO4)2.4mg/L;塩化物(CaCO3)6.1mg/L;全アルカリ度(CaCO3)71mg/L;25℃での伝導度150μS/cm;25℃でのpH8.3pH単位。
Claims (14)
- 水システム中におけるシリカおよびケイ酸塩化合物の形成および沈着の防止法であって、前記方法は、アクリル酸のホモポリマー、メタクリル酸とポリエチレングリコールアリルエーテルとの共重合体、メタクリル酸のホモポリマー、アクリル酸とポリエチレングリコールアリルエーテルとの共重合体、アクリル酸と1−アリルオキシ−2-ヒドロキシプロパンスルホン酸との共重合体、無水マレイン酸のホモポリマー、無水マレイン酸とポリエチレングリコールアリルエーテルとの共重合体、およびこれらの組み合わせから成る群より選ばれる1つ以上の低分子量アニオン性ポリマーの、防止に効果的な量を前記水システム内の水に加える工程を含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 1つ以上の前記低分子量ポリマーは、約5,000Daから約20万Daの重量平均分子量を持つことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の前記低分子量ポリマーは、約5,000から約20万Daの平均分子量を持つ、アクリル酸のホモポリマーであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の前記低分子量ポリマーは、約5,000から約7,000Daの平均分子量を持つ、メタクリル酸とポリエチレングリコールアリルエーテルとの共重合体であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の前記低分子量ポリマーは、約15,000Daの平均分子量を持つ、メタクリル酸のホモポリマーであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の前記低分子量ポリマーは、約5,000から約7,000Daの平均分子量を持つ、アクリル酸とポリエチレングリコールアリルエーテルとの共重合体であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の前記低分子量ポリマーは、約32,000Daの平均分子量を持つ、アクリル酸と1−アリルオキシ−2−ヒドロキシプロパンスルホン酸との共重合体であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の前記低分子量アニオン性ポリマーは、カルボキシル化およびアルコキシル化モノマーを用いた、水溶性のホモポリマーおよび共重合体を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の前記低分子量ポリマーは、プロポキシ、エトキシ、ヒドロキシ置換アルキル鎖、およびこれらの組み合わせを含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の前記低分子量ポリマーは、約4から約20mol%の範囲の平均置換率を持つことを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記水システムは、冷却水システム、地熱水システム、塩水脱塩システム、ボイラー水システム、原油回収用の下げ孔水システム、パルプおよび製紙工場用水システム、および採鉱および選鉱用水システムより選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記水システムは、冷却水システムであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 1つ以上の腐食防止剤、スケール防止剤、または分散剤を前記水システムに加える工程を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記スケール防止剤または分散剤は、無機および有機のポリホスファート類、ホスホナート類、ポリカルボキシラート類、およびこれらの組み合わせから成る群より選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の方法。
