Description
(a)加水分解性単位を含む親水性前駆体成分;および

Claims (29)
- (a)加水分解性単位を含む親水性前駆体成分;および
(b)親水性モノマーと酢酸ビニル、イソブチレン、イソプレン、ブチルゴムまたはスチレンブタジエンから選択される第2のモノマーとの共重合体;
を含むガムベース。 - 前記親水性モノマーが、ビニルアルコール、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、エチレングリコールメタクリレート、N,N−ジメチルアクリルアミド、2−ヒドロキシアクリル酸エチル、アクリルアミド、N−イソプロピルアクリルアミド、2−(ジメチルアミノ)メタクリル酸エチル、2−アクリルアミド−2−メチルプロパンスルホン酸、エチレンオキシド、エチレングリコールおよびプロピレングリコールから選択される1以上である、請求項1に記載のガムベース。
- 前記共重合体が、ポリ酢酸ビニルおよびポリビニルアルコールを含む、請求項1または2に記載のガムベース。
- 前記加水分解性単位が、エステル結合、エーテル結合または無水物結合からなる群から選択される、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のガムベース。
- 前記親水性前駆体成分が、ポリマーまたはそれらの塩を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のガムベース。
- 前記ポリマーが、メチルビニルエーテルおよび無水マレイン酸の共重合体ならびに/またはそれらの塩;ポリスチレンおよび無水マレイン酸の共重合体ならびに/またはそれらの塩;ポリスクシンイミドおよび/またはそれらの塩、ビニルピロリドンおよび酢酸ビニルの共重合体ならびに/またはそれらの塩、ならびにアルギン酸エステルならびに/またはそれらの塩ならびにこれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項5に記載のガムベース。
- 加水分解性単位を含むポリマーの塩が、アルカリ金属塩またはアルカリ土類金属塩から選択される、請求項5または請求項6に記載のガムベース。
- 前記加水分解性単位を有する親水性前駆体成分が、全ガムベースの約0.1重量%〜約10重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のガムベース。
- 前記共重合体が、全組成物の約3重量%〜約95重量%の量で存在する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のガムベース。
- 未修飾ポリマーのさらなる量を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載のガムベース。

- 加水分解を促進する少なくとも1つの成分の不存在下より加水分解を促進する少なくとも1つの成分の存在下でより早く分解する、請求項12または請求項13に記載のガムベース。
- 前記親水性前駆体成分が、少なくとも部分的にバリア材に封入されまたは分散される、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載のガムベース。
- 前記バリア材が、前記親水性前駆体成分の加水分解性単位と反応することができる求核性の基を有しない物質を含む、請求項15に記載のガムベース。
- 前記親水性前駆体成分の加水分解性単位と反応することができる求核性の基が、1以上の酸素および/または窒素原子を含む部分から選択される、請求項15または請求項16に記載のガムベース。
- 前記バリア材が、油および脂肪、ならびにそれらの水素化物およびエマルションから選択される、請求項15〜17のいずれか1項に記載のガムベース。

- (a)加水分解性単位を含む少なくとも1つの親水性前駆体成分を提供する工程;および
(b)前記親水性前駆体成分を、親水性モノマーと酢酸ビニル、イソブチレン、イソプレン、ブチルゴムまたはスチレンブタジエンから選択される第2のモノマーとの共重合体と混合する工程;
を含む、請求項1〜21のいずれか1項に記載のガムベースの調製方法。 - (a)(i)加水分解性単位を含む少なくとも1つの親水性前駆体成分;および(ii)親水性モノマーと酢酸ビニル、イソブチレン、イソプレン、ブチルゴムまたはスチレンブタジエンから選択される第2のモノマーとの共重合体;を含むガムベースを提供する工程:および
(b)前記ガムベースを甘味料、香味料、五感で知覚されるもの、およびそれらの組み合わせから選択される少なくとも1つの成分と混合する工程:
