Claims (21)
- ゲームネットワーク中のラグスイッチのチートを検出する方法であって、
クライアントからデータパケットを受信するステップとを含み、
前記データパケットは、シーケンス番号(sequence number)およびタイムスタンプの少なくともひとつを含むトラッキングデータを有し、
前記方法はさらに、
前記トラッキングデータを監視するステップと、
前記トラッキングデータの監視からチート検出イベントが発生したことを決定するステップとを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記チート検出イベントに関連する少なくとも一人のユーザを特定するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザに対し、当該ユーザがチートをしていることが疑われていることを示す情報を送信するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記チート検出イベントに関連する少なくとも一人のユーザにペナルティを科すステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記シーケンス番号は暗号化されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記シーケンス番号はパケットロスを検出するために用いられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記タイムスタンプは暗号化されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記タイムスタンプは遅延時間(latency)の変化を検出するために用いられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記監視するステップは、サーバにおいて実行されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記監視するステップは、クライアントにおいて実行されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- ゲームネットワーク中のラグスイッチのチートを検出するシステムであって、
クライアントからデータパケットを受信するネットワークインタフェースを備え、
前記データパケットは、シーケンス番号およびタイムスタンプの少なくともひとつを含むトラッキングデータを有し、
前記システムはさらに、
前記トラッキングデータを監視する、メモリに格納された監視モジュールと、
メモリに格納されプロセッサに実行されることで前記トラッキングデータの監視からチート検出イベントが発生したことを決定する解析エンジンとを備えることを特徴とするシステム。 - プロセッサによる前記解析エンジンの実行は、前記チート検出イベントに関連する少なくとも一人のユーザを特定することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記ユーザに対し、当該ユーザがチートをしていることが疑われていることを示す情報が送信されることを特徴とする請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記チート検出イベントに関連する少なくとも一人のユーザにペナルティを科すことをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記シーケンス番号は暗号化されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記解析エンジンは、前記シーケンス番号を、パケットロスを検出するために用いることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記タイムスタンプは暗号化されていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記解析エンジンは、前記タイムスタンプを、レイテンシ(latency)の変化を検出するために用いることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記監視モジュールはサーバにあることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記監視モジュールはクライアントにあることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- プロセッサによる実行によりゲームネットワーク中のラグスイッチのチートを検出する方法を実現するプログラムを格納するコンピュータが読み出し可能な記録媒体であって、前記方法は、
クライアントからデータパケットを受信するステップとを含み、
前記データパケットは、シーケンス番号およびタイムスタンプの少なくともひとつを含むトラッキングデータを有し、
前記方法はさらに、
前記トラッキングデータを監視するステップと、
前記トラッキングデータの監視からチート検出イベントが発生したことを決定するステップとを含むことを特徴とする記録媒体。
