Abstract
【解決手段】 送風装置によって形成される通風流路内に殺菌室を有する殺菌ユニットを配置し、当該殺菌室内を流通する空気に深紫外線を照射して殺菌を行なう空気清浄装置において、光源として深紫外線LEDなどの素子を用いると共に、殺菌室の内壁面の少なくとも一部を紫外線反射材で構成するか又は紫外線反射材で構成される反射板を殺菌室内に配置して、光源から出射された深紫外線が殺菌室内に存在する空気を通過した後に該紫外線反射材で構成された内壁面又は該反射板で反射されて、該空気を更に1回以上通過するようにする。

Claims (4)
- 空気吸入口用開口部と空気排出用開口部とを有する殺菌室を有する筐体と、200〜350nmの波長を有する深紫外線を出射する紫外線発光素子と、を含んでなる空気殺菌ユニットであって、前記紫外線発光素子を前記殺菌室の内部に向かって深紫外線を出射するように前記筐体に設置し、前記殺菌室の内壁面表面の少なくとも一部を紫外線反射材で構成するか又は表面の少なくとも一部が紫外線反射材で構成される反射板を前記殺菌室内に配置し、該紫外線発光素子から出射された深紫外線が前記殺菌室内に存在する空気を通過した後に該紫外線反射材で構成された内壁面表面又は該反射板の表面で反射されて、該空気を更に1回以上通過するようにした空気殺菌ユニットと、送風装置と、を含んでなることを特徴とする空気清浄装置。
- 前記紫外線反射材が、クロム、白金、ロジウム、アルミニウム、酸化マグネシウム、炭酸カルシウム又は炭酸マグネシウムであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気清浄装置。
- 前記空気殺菌ユニットが、前記空気殺菌ユニットの空気吸入口用開口部および空気排出用開口部から深紫外線が漏洩するのを防止するための通気性紫外線遮光部材を更に含んでなることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の空気清浄装置。
- 集塵フィルター、脱臭フィルター、又はこれらの組み合わせからなる複合フィルターを含んでなるフィルターユニットを更に有し、前記空気殺菌ユニットの空気吸入口用開口部の上流側に、該フィルターユニットを着脱可能に装着するようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の空気清浄装置。
