Abstract

Description
乗客娯楽システムを装備している場合、車両は、移動中の乗客に情報を表示したり、その他の娯楽を提供したりするためのビデオモニタを含むことが多い。様々な理由から、モニタはガラス製のフロントカバーを含むことが望ましい。しかしながら、ガラスは、当たった際に、粉砕して危険な破片に分解する可能性がある。車両が移動中に急に減速や方向転換をしたり、あるいは緊急事態が発生したりする場合、ガラスが乗客の頭やその他の部分にぶつかる可能性がある。乗客のけがの可能性に加えて、割れたガラスは清掃員が除去するのに困難で危険でもある。
