Abstract
【解決手段】伸側室R1と圧側室R2とを連通する減衰通路3a,3bと、圧力室R3と、圧力室R3内に移動自在に挿入されて圧力室R3を伸側流路5を介して伸側室R1に連通される伸側圧力室7と圧側流路6を介して圧側室R2に連通される圧側圧力室8とに区画するフリーピストン9と、当該フリーピストン9の圧力室R3に対する変位を抑制する附勢力を発生するばね要素10とを備えた緩衝装置Dにおいて、圧力室R3は、ピストンロッド4に設けられる筒状のハウジング14と、ピストン2が装着されるとともにハウジング14の開口部を閉塞するピストンホルダ15とで形成されて伸側室R2側に配置される。

Claims (7)
- シリンダと、当該シリンダ内に摺動自在に挿入され当該シリンダ内を伸側室と圧側室に区画するピストンと、上記シリンダ内に移動自在に挿通されるとともに上記ピストンに連結されるピストンロッドと、上記伸側室と圧側室とを連通する減衰通路と、圧力室と、上記圧力室内に移動自在に挿入されて当該圧力室を伸側流路を介して伸側室に連通される伸側圧力室と圧側流路を介して圧側室に連通される圧側圧力室とに区画するフリーピストンと、当該フリーピストンの上記圧力室に対する変位を抑制する附勢力を発生するばね要素とを備えた緩衝装置において、上記圧力室は、上記ピストンロッドに設けられて上記フリーピストンが摺動自在に挿入される筒状のハウジングと、上記ピストンが装着されるとともに上記ハウジングの開口部を閉塞するピストンホルダとで形成されて伸側室側に配置されることを特徴とする緩衝装置。
- 上記ピストンロッドの外周に上記シリンダに対する当該ピストンロッドの退出を規制する伸切ストッパを設け、上記ハウジングが上記伸切ストッパよりピストンロッドの先端側に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の緩衝装置。
- 上記伸切ストッパが上記ハウジングの肩に積層されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の緩衝装置。
- 上記フリーピストンは有底筒状とされて開口部を上方へ向けて上記ハウジング内に挿入されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の緩衝装置。
- 上記ピストンホルダは、外周に上記ピストンが装着される軸部を備え、上記圧側流路が上記軸部を貫通してハウジング内に通じることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の緩衝装置。
- 上記伸側流路は、上記フリーピストンが上記ハウジングに対する変位によって流路面積が変化するオリフィス流路を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の緩衝装置。
- 上記オリフィス流路は、上記ハウジングの側方から開口して当該ハウジング内に通じる透孔を備え、上記フリーピストンの外周に上記ハウジングの内周に摺接して当該フリーピストンと当該ハウジングとの間をシールするシールリングを設け、上記シールリングの装着位置は、上記フリーピストンを上記ハウジング内へ挿入する際に上記透孔を跨がない位置に設けられることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の緩衝装置。
