Abstract
【解決手段】S/C15とT/C14を備え、セミトレーラ1が牽引するトレーラ3の牽引荷重W1を検知する荷重センサS1をカプラ5aに配置し、その牽引荷重W1が予め定めた牽引判定値Wnよりも重いときに、S/C15とT/C14による複合過給を行い、牽引荷重W1が牽引判定値Wn以下のときに、T/C14のみの単一過給を行う。

Description
排ガスの全量がターボチャージャのタービンを通過するように、低圧EGRシステムを用いる。また、重荷重時を含む高負荷時は、スーパーチャージャの運転領域では排ガス流量が少ないため、低圧EGRシステムを用いて、ターボチャージャの運転領域では、排ガス流量が多くなったときに高圧EGRシステムを用いる。
T/C14のみによる単一過給とをS/C用クラッチ16aと吸気切換バルブ17により切り換える手段を備える。
タークーラー36とインマニ37の間に配置してもよく、また、LP−EGR41の排ガスの還流出口をインマニ37の近傍の吸気配管に接続してもよい。

Claims (8)
- スーパーチャージャとターボチャージャと、を備える内燃機関において、
車両が牽引する牽引荷重、又は車両に積載された積載荷重に応じて、前記スーパーチャージャと前記ターボチャージャによる複合過給と、前記ターボチャージャのみの単一過給とを切り換える制御装置を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 前記牽引荷重、又は前記積載荷重を検知する荷重センサを備え、
前記制御装置が、
前記牽引荷重又は前記積載荷重が予め定めた判定値よりも大きいか否かを判断する荷重判定手段と、
前記牽引荷重又は前記積載荷重が前記判定値よりも大きい場合に、車両の運転状態に基づいて前記スーパーチャージャと前記ターボチャージャによる前記複合過給を行う複合過給手段と、
前記牽引荷重又は前記積載荷重が前記判定値以下の場合に、前記ターボチャージャのみの前記単一過給を行う単一過給手段と、を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関。 - 前記ターボチャージャの排ガスの下流側で排ガスを還流する低圧EGRシステムと、前記ターボチャージャの排ガスの上流側で排ガスを還流する高圧EGRシステムと、を備えると共に、
前記制御装置が、
前記複合過給で行われる前記スーパーチャージャによる過給時と、前記単一過給で行われる前記ターボチャージャによる過給時に、前記低圧EGRシステムのみにより排ガスを還流し、
前記複合過給で行われる前記ターボチャージャによる過給時に、前記車両の運転状況に基づいて前記低圧EGRシステムと前記高圧EGRシステムにより排ガスを還流する手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関を搭載することを特徴とする車両。
- 請求項4に記載の車両を、貨物を積載する被牽引車両を牽引する牽引車両で形成し、
前記被牽引車両との連結部に、前記被牽引車両をしているか否か、又は前記牽引車両に前記貨物を積載しているか否かを検知する荷重センサを配置することを特徴とする車両。 - スーパーチャージャとターボチャージャとを備える内燃機関の制御方法において、
車両が牽引する牽引荷重、又は車両に積載される積載荷重に応じて、前記スーパーチャージャと前記ターボチャージャによる複合過給と、前記ターボチャージャのみの単一過給とを切り換えることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御方法。 - 荷重センサが検知する前記牽引荷重、又は前記積載荷重が予め定めた判定値よりも大きいか否かを判断する荷重判定工程と、
前記牽引荷重又は前記積載荷重が前記判定値よりも大きい場合に、車両の運転状態に基づいて前記スーパーチャージャと前記ターボチャージャによる前記複合過給を行う複合過給工程と、
前記牽引荷重又は前記積載荷重が前記判定値以下の場合に、前記ターボチャージャのみの前記単一過給を行う単一過工程と、を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。 - 前記複合過給で行われる前記スーパーチャージャによる過給時と、前記単一過給で行わ
れる前記ターボチャージャによる過給時に、前記ターボチャージャの排ガスの下流側で排ガスを還流する低圧EGRシステムのみで排ガスを還流し、
前記複合過給で行われる前記ターボチャージャによる過給時に、車両の運転状態に基づいて前記低圧EGRシステムと、前記ターボチャージャの排ガスの上流側で排ガスを還流する高圧EGRシステムにより排ガスを還流することを特徴とする請求項6又は7に記載の内燃機関の制御方法。
