A−パネル全体にわたる全般的な腐食、1つの範囲に局在せず;
B−垂直に吊り下げられている間、被覆剤が流れたため、主にパネルの底部、またはパネルの僅かにゾル−ゲル被覆が薄い範囲が腐食;
C−パネル上に腐食は全く存在しない;
D−パネル上に腐食は全く存在しない;
E−パネル全体にわたり腐食;
F−パネル上に腐食は全く存在しない;
G−パネル全体にわたる全般的な腐食、1つの範囲に局在せず;
H−垂直に吊り下げられている間、被覆剤が流れたため、主にパネルの底部、またはパネルの僅かにゾル−ゲル被覆が薄い範囲が腐食;
I−パネル上に腐食は全く存在しない;および
J−パネル上に腐食は全く存在しない。
Claims (16)
- 金属成分の被覆用水性有機ゾル−ゲル組成物であって、
酸、
酢酸金属塩、
オルガノシラン、および
水、
を含む組成物。 - 酸が、氷酢酸を含む請求項1の組成物。
- 酢酸金属塩が、酢酸ジルコニウム、酢酸マグネシウムまたはこれらの混合物を含む請求項5の組成物。
- オルガノシランが、グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシランを含む請求項1の組成物。
- 組成物のpHが、2.5と5との間である請求項1の組成物。
- 被覆組成物が噴霧可能である請求項1の組成物。
- 被覆組成物が、金属基板に対して噴霧可能で、基板上に0.6〜2.5ミクロン厚の被覆を形成する請求項1の被覆組成物。
- 酢酸金属塩が、酢酸ジルコニウム、酢酸マグネシウムまたはこれらの混合物を含む請求項10の組成物。
- 金属基板の耐食性を改良する方法であって、
酸、
酢酸金属塩、
オルガノシラン、および
水
を含む水性有機ゾル−ゲル組成物を準備すること、
アルミニウム合金基板上に該組成物を配置すること、および
組成物を乾燥し、基板上にゾル−ゲル被覆を形成すること
を含む方法。 - 基板は、アルミニウムおよび銅を含み、該基板上に金属酸化物被覆を有し、ゾル−ゲル被覆は、金属酸化物被覆上に0.6〜2.5ミクロンの厚さで配置され、酸化物被覆のシールを形成し、組成物を配置するステップが、酸化物被覆に組成物を噴霧することを含む請求項13の方法。
- 金属酸化物被覆が、酸化ジルコニウム、酸化チタンおよびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される請求項13の方法。
