Abstract
Description
前記電池セルの外部の少なくとも一部を耐火性コーティング覆うことを含む方法。

第1の試験においては、MAPPガストーチによって加熱した板上に直接セルを設置した。セルは24秒ほどで炎を上げ、最高温度320℃に達した。
第2の試験においては、FIREXでコーティングしたセルを金属板上に設置し、比較例1と同じ条件下で加熱した。そのセルは3分経っても発火しなかった。その代わりに、コーティングにより、熱によるセルへの損傷が防止され、発火後のセルの点検では、物理的損傷の兆候は何ら見られなかった。

- その外側の少なくとも一部が耐火性コーティングで覆われている電池セル。
- 前記耐火性コーティングがアブレーティブコーティングである請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記耐火性コーティングが膨張性コーティングである、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 前記耐火性コーティングが吸熱性コーティングである、請求項1に記載の電池セル。
- 請求項1に記載の電池セルを少なくとも1つ含む電池セルアセンブリー。
- 請求項1に記載の電池セルを少なくとも1つ含む電池。
- 請求項5に記載の電池セルアセンブリーを少なくとも1つ含む電池。
- 電池セルを作製する方法であって、前記方法は、
前記電池セルの外側の少なくとも一部を耐火性コーティングで覆うことを含む方法。 - 前記耐火性コーティングがアブレーティブコーティングである請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記耐火性コーティングが膨張性コーティングである請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記耐火性コーティングが吸熱性コーティングである請求項8に記載の方法。
- 電池セルアセンブリーを作製する方法であって、前記方法は、
