Abstract
Description
本発明は、概して、医療用デバイスおよび方法に関し、より具体的には、組織切除、組織切断、または組織収縮のために、標的組織の加熱を生じさせる、プローブを備える、医療用加熱デバイス、ならびにそのようなデバイスの励起および制御に関する。
Claims (24)
- 医療用加熱デバイスであって、
携帯式封入体と、
前記封入体内の電源と、
前記封入体の端部から延在する熱伝導性プローブであって、組織接触遠位端を有するプローブと、
20C°から約80C°の範囲内の温度変化に応答して、2から4のオーダーの範囲内の抵抗変化を有する小型加熱器を形成する温度変化係数(TCC)要素と
を備え、
前記熱伝導性プローブは、前記TCC要素に連結され、前記TCC要素から前記組織接触遠位端に熱を伝達する、医療用加熱デバイス。 - 前記TCC要素は、温度上昇に応答して、抵抗が変化するPTCまたはNTC/ZTC要素を含み、前記PTCまたはNTC/ZTC要素は、
サーミスタ加熱器材料からなり、該サーミスタ加熱器材料は、5%から40%の伝導性ドーパント材料を伴うポリマー系材料と、ドーパント材料を伴わないセラミック材料中に5%から40%の伝導性ドーパント材料を伴うセラミック系材料とを含み、該サーミスタ加熱器材料は、温度に伴って変動する電気抵抗によって特徴付けられ、前記変動は、前記要素からの熱産生の変動を生じさせる、請求項1に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。 - 前記電源は、直流電流バッテリである、請求項1に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 前記封入体は、断熱外被を備えている、請求項1に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 前記TCC要素は、コア電気スペーサの周囲に巻かれている少なくとも1つのコイルの物理的形態を有し、前記コア電気スペーサは、いくつかの領域を電気的に分離するが、前記TCC要素の他の領域を前記電源に電気的に接続し、前記少なくとも1つのコイルの長さを通して電流経路をもたらすように機能する、請求項1に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 前記TCC要素は、コア電気スペーサの周囲に巻かれているシートの物理的形態を有し、前記シートの両端は、前記電源に接続され、前記シート全体を通して電流経路を提供する、請求項1に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 前記TCC要素は、細長いコア上において前記TCC要素を通して走る縦方向チャネルを有する物理的形態を有し、前記細長いコアは、前記TCC要素を前記電源および前記熱伝導性プローブに電気的に連結し、前記細長いコアを通して電流経路を提供する手段を格納し、前記プローブは、前記TCC要素に隣接する前記プローブの領域を被覆する電気絶縁シースを有している、請求項1に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 前記熱伝導性プローブは、1つ以上の針形状のプローブを備えている、請求項1に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 前記熱伝導性プローブは、標的組織から、材料を送達または除去するために適応された少なくとも1つの中空チューブを備えている、請求項9に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 前記熱伝導性プローブは、円形、楕円形、正方形、長方形、または長円形である断面形状を有する、請求項9に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 前記熱伝導性プローブは、円唇、回転ボール状、穿刺、先鋭、または鈍頭である遠位端を有する、請求項9に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 組織場所に熱を送達する方法であって、
請求項1に記載の医療用加熱デバイスを提供することと、
前記要素TCC要素が加熱するように、電源から、前記TCCを通して電流を通すことと、
前記熱伝導性プローブの組織接触遠位端を前記組織場所に対して係合させることと
を含み、
熱が前記組織に送達され、前記プローブを冷却させ、それが、前記TCC要素を冷却させ、温度変化を生じさせ、それが、前記抵抗を変化させ、前記TCC要素の温度を制御点に復帰させる、方法。 - 高周波医療用加熱デバイスであって、
携帯式封入体と、
前記封入体内の電源と、
前記電源から電流を引き込み、無線周波数電流を発生させる、電場発生器と、
少なくとも1つの組織プローブと、
1つ以上の組織プローブ上の少なくとも2つの伝導性区分と、
20C°から約80C°の範囲内の温度変化に応答して、2から4のオーダーの大きさの範囲内の抵抗変化を有する、温度変化係数(TCC)要素と
を備え、
前記TCC要素は、前記電場発生器と前記少なくとも2つの伝導性区分との間で直列である、高周波医療用加熱デバイス。 - 前記TCC要素は、温度上昇に応答して、抵抗が変化するPTCまたはNTC/ZTC要素を含み、前記PTCまたはNTC/ZTC要素は、
サーミスタ加熱器材料からなり、該サーミスタ加熱器材料は、5%から40%の伝導性ドーパント材料を伴うポリマー系材料、セラミック材料中に5%から40%の伝導性ドーパント材料を伴うセラミック系材料、またはドーパント材料を伴わないセラミック材料を含み、該サーミスタ加熱器材料は、温度に伴って変動する電気抵抗によって特徴付けられ、前記変動は、前記要素からの熱産生の変動を生じさせる、請求項13に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。 - 前記電源は、直流電流バッテリである、請求項13に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 前記封入体は、断熱外被を備えている、請求項13に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 2つの組織プローブおよび2つの伝導性区分を伴い、各プローブは、その上に位置する1つの伝導性区分を有している、請求項13に記載の高周波交流電流医療用デバイス。
- 3つの組織プローブおよび3つの伝導性区分を伴い、各プローブは、その上に位置する1つの伝導性区分を有している、請求項13に記載の高周波交流電流医療用デバイス。
- 前記少なくとも1つの組織プローブおよびその上に位置する少なくとも2つの伝導性区分は、前記封入体に可撤性に取り付け可能である、請求項13に記載の高周波交流電流医療用デバイス。
- 少なくとも2つの交換可能組織プローブアセンブリを備えている、請求項13に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 1つ以上の組織貫通組織プローブを伴う第1の組織プローブアセンブリと、1つ以上の表面係合組織プローブを伴う第2の組織プローブアセンブリとを備えている、請求項20に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 前記電場発生器は、神経を刺激して位置を特定することができる直流電流を選択的に産生することと、高周波電流を産生し、前記直流電流によって位置を特定された神経を治療することとを行うように適合されている、請求項13に記載の医療用加熱デバイス。
- 組織を加熱する方法であって、
請求項13に記載の高周波医療用加熱デバイスを提供することと、
前記電場発生器から前記組織プローブに無線周波数電流を通すことと、
前記2つの伝導性区分を組織に対して係合させ、前記組織をオーム加熱することと
を含み、
前記TCC要素は、前記2つの伝導性区分への電流を制御し、前記電流を所望の範囲内に維持する、方法。 - 無線周波数電流によって、神経組織を治療する方法であって、
請求項22に記載の高周波医療用加熱デバイスを提供することと、
前記電場発生器から前記組織プローブに直流電流を通すことと、
前記2つの伝導性区分を組織に対して係合させ、標的神経を刺激することと、
前記神経が刺激される場所を観察することと、
前記プローブが、前記観察された場所にある間、前記電場発生器から前記組織プローブに、無線周波数電流を通すことと
を含み、
前記TCC要素は、前記2つの伝導性区分への電流を制御し、前記電流を所望の範囲内に維持する、方法。
