Abstract
Description
Spunbond 50gsm(SSS)の商品名でFirst Quality Nonwovensから市販されているスパンボンド不織布ウェブが得られた。ウェブは、15%の点結合のドット模様及び幅100mmを有する50gsmであり、ポリプロピレンからなった。基材は、(米国特許第6000106号に記載の一般的な種類の)CS600の商品名で3M Company,St.Paul,MNから得られた。基材の第1の表面は、概して滑らかであり、基材の第2の表面は、1平行インチあたり約2300の密度(15.9MPa)で突出部を有した(突出部は、それぞれ、拡大された略ディスク型ヘッドを有する雄型締結要素である)。基材の厚さは、約100マイクロメートル(突出部の高さを計算しない)であり、突出部の高さは、約380マイクロメートルであった。裏及び突出部は、一体構造であり、両者ともポリプロピレン/ポリエチレンコポリマーからなった。基材は、それぞれ、幅24mmの伸長ストリップとして得られた。
複合不織布ウェブは、EBL Bright(米国特許第5616394号に記載の一般的な種類の)の商品名で3Mから得られ、これは、35gsmのポリプロピレン裏材に弓状に突出するループに結合させた約35gsmのプロピレン繊維(4デニール)を備えた。実施例1の基材材料のストリップは、実施例1の条件と実質的に同じ条件を用いて、不織布ウェブの繊維側に結合させた。更に、不織布ウェブ−基材の接触領域の全体にわたって卓越した表面結合があり、不織布ウェブの明らかな損傷又は変形がなく、雄型締結要素への明らかな損傷又は変形のない、卓越した結果が、見出された。
50gsmのスパンボンド−メルトブロウン−スパンボンド(SMS)不織布ウェブが、LC060ARWMの商品名でPGI Nonwovens,Charlotte,NCから得られた。一般に、10cmの範囲内で、様々なウェブ幅が使用された。基材は、実施例1に記載の3M Company,St.Paul,MNから得られた。基材は、幅20mmの伸長ストリップとして得られた。
Claims (25)
- 少なくとも第1の移動基材の第1の表面と第2の移動基材の第1の表面との上に流体を衝突させ、前記衝突させた流体を局所的に除去するための装置であって、
少なくとも1つの第1の流体送達出口と、
前記第1の流体送達出口に対して局所的に位置付けられる少なくとも1つの第1の流体捕捉入口と、
少なくとも1つの第2の流体送達出口と、
前記第2の流体送達出口に対して局所的に位置付けられる少なくとも1つの第2の流体捕捉入口と、を備え、
前記少なくとも1つの第1の流体送達出口及び前記少なくとも1つの第2の流体送達出口が、分岐関係にある、装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つの第1の流体送達出口に流体接続される少なくとも1つの第1の流体送達チャネルと、前記少なくとも1つの第2の流体送達出口に流体接続される少なくとも1つの第2の流体送達チャネルと、前記少なくとも1つの第1の流体捕捉入口に流体接続される少なくとも1つの第1の流体除去チャネルと、前記少なくとも1つの第2の流体送達出口に流体接続される少なくとも1つの第2の流体除去チャネルと、を更に備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1及び第2の流体送達チャネルが、共通の流体送達プレナムの第1及び第2の部分を備える、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の流体送達出口が、周囲方向に伸長した弓形形状を備え、前記第1の流体捕捉入口が、前記第1の流体捕捉入口の弓形形状と一致する周囲方向に伸長した弓形形状を備え、
前記第2の流体送達出口が、周囲方向に伸長した弓形形状を備え、前記第2の流体捕捉入口が、前記第2の流体捕捉入口の弓形形状と一致する周囲方向に伸長した弓形形状を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第1の流体送達出口が、一対の第1の流体捕捉入口と横方向に外向きに側面を接し、前記第2の流体送達出口が、一対の第2の流体捕捉入口と横方向に外向きに側面を接する、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の流体捕捉入口が、前記第1の流体送達出口と両方とも一致し、前記第2の流体捕捉入口が、前記第2の流体送達出口と両方とも一致する、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記第1の流体送達出口の周囲方向端部と前記第2の流体送達出口の周囲方向端部とが、突出した突出部を形成するように、互いに隣接して位置付けられる、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が、横方向に離間した一対の第1の流体送達出口を備え、一対の第1の流体捕捉入口が、前記一対の第1の流体送達出口と横方向に外向きに側面を接し、更なる第1の流体捕捉入口が、前記一対の第1の流体送達出口の間で横方向に挟まれ、
前記装置が、横方向に離間した一対の第2の流体送達出口を更に備え、一対の第2の流体捕捉入口が、前記一対の第2の流体送達出口と横方向に外向きに側面を接し、更なる第2の流体捕捉入口が、前記一対の第2の流体送達出口の間で横方向に挟まれる、請求項4に記載の装置。 - 前記装置が、少なくとも3つの横方向に離間した第1の流体送達出口を備え、第1の流体捕捉入口が、それぞれ2つの第1の流体送達出口の間に横方向に挟まれ、一組の第1の流体捕捉入口が、前記横方向に最外部の第1の流体送達出口と横方向に外向きに側面を接し、
前記装置が、少なくとも3つの横方向に離間した第2の流体送達出口を更に備え、第2の流体捕捉入口が、それぞれ2つの第2の流体送達出口の間で横方向に挟まれ、一組の第2の流体捕捉入口が、前記横方向に最外部の第2の流体送達出口と横方向に外向きに側面を接する、請求項4に記載の装置。 - 前記流体送達出口が、集合的に周辺を含み、前記流体捕捉入口が、前記集合的出口周辺の少なくとも70%が、前記流体捕捉入口によって囲まれるように、位置付け及び寸法調整される、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記流体送達出口のそれぞれが、流体透過性シートを備える作業面を備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- それぞれの流体透過性シートが、シートに20%〜80%の開口面積率を提供する、貫通開口部を有する不連続スクリーンを備える、請求項11に記載の装置。
- それぞれの流体送達出口の前記流体透過性シートが、前記流体送達出口が流体接続される流体送達チャネルの下方へと流体の流れの略方向に対して鋭角で位置付けられる、請求項11に記載の装置。
- 第1の移動基材の第1の表面と第2の移動基材の第1の表面との上に、加熱流体を衝突させ、第1の移動基材の第1の表面と第2の移動基材の第1の表面とから衝突させた流体を局所的に除去するための方法であって、
少なくとも1つの第1の流体送達出口と、前記第1の流体送達出口に対して局所的に位置付けられる少なくとも1つの第1の流体捕捉入口と、を提供することと、
少なくとも1つの第2の流体送達出口と、前記第2の流体送達出口に対して局所的に位置付けられる少なくとも1つの第2の流体捕捉入口と、を提供することと、
前記第1の移動基材に前記第1の流体送達出口を通過させ、前記第1の移動基材の第1の主表面上に、前記第1の出口からの加熱流体を衝突させることと、
前記第2の移動基材に前記第2の流体送達出口を通過させ、前記第2の移動基材の第1の主表面上に、前記第2の出口からの加熱流体を衝突させることと、
前記流体捕捉入口を通って衝突させた流体の全体積流量の少なくとも60%を局所的に捕捉し、前記流体捕捉入口に流体接続される流体除去チャネルを通して前記局所的に捕捉した流体を除去することと、を含み、
前記第1及び第2の移動基材が、合流する基材である、方法。 - 衝突させた流体の前記体積流量のうちの少なくとも80%を局所的に捕捉すること、を含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 衝突させた流体の前記体積流量の実質的に全てを局所的に捕捉することを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記移動基材を取り囲む大気からの周囲空気が、前記流体捕捉入口によって捕捉され、前記流体除去チャネルによって除去され、捕捉された周囲空気の体積流量が、前記局所的に捕捉された衝突させた流体の体積流量の少なくとも約20%である、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの第1の流体送達出口と前記少なくとも1つの第2の流体送達出口とが、分岐関係にある、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの第1の流体送達出口と前記少なくとも1つの第1の流体捕捉入口とが、それぞれ、前記第1の移動基材の前記第1の表面から5mm未満に位置付けられ、前記少なくとも1つの第2の流体送達出口と前記少なくとも1つの第2の流体捕捉入口とが、前記第2の移動基材の前記第1の表面から5mm未満に位置付けられる、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの第1の流体送達出口と前記少なくとも1つの第1の流体捕捉入口とが、それぞれ、前記第1の移動基材の前記第1の表面から2mm未満に位置付けられ、前記少なくとも1つの第2の流体送達出口と前記少なくとも1つの第2の流体捕捉入口とが、前記第2の移動基材の前記第1の表面から2mm未満に位置付けられる、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記出口を通過する前記流体の公称速度が、0.2マッハ未満である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の流体送達出口が、長軸を有する伸長形状を備え、長軸を有する伸長形状をそれぞれ有する、一対の第1の流体捕捉入口が、前記第1の流体送達出口と横方向に外向きに側面を接する関係に位置付けられ、前記第1の流体捕捉入口の長軸は、前記第1の流体送達出口の長軸に対して略平行であり、前記第1の流体捕捉入口の長軸及び前記第1の流体送達出口の長軸は、前記第1の基材の運動の方向に略整列され、
前記第2の流体送達出口が、長軸を有する伸長形状を備え、長軸を有する伸長形状をそれぞれ有する、一対の第2の流体捕捉入口が、前記第2の流体送達出口と横方向に外向きに側面を接する関係に位置付けられ、前記第2の流体捕捉入口の長軸は、前記第2の流体送達出口の長軸に対して略平行であり、前記第2の流体捕捉入口の長軸及び前記第2の流体送達出口の長軸は、前記第2の基材の運動の方向に略整列される、請求項14に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の流体送達出口が、一対の横方向に離間した第1の流体送達出口のうちの1つであり、前記一対の第1の流体捕捉入口が、前記一対の第1の流体送達出口と横方向に外向きに側面を接し、更なる第1の流体捕捉入口が、前記一対の第1の流体送達出口の間で横方向に挟まれ、前記第2の流体送達出口が、一対の横方向に離間した第2の流体送達出口のうちの1つであり、前記一対の第2の流体捕捉入口が、前記一対の第2の流体送達出口と横方向に外向きに側面を接し、更なる第2の流体捕捉入口が、前記一対の第2の流体送達出口の間で横方向に挟まれる、請求項22に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の移動基材が、第1の裏ロールの表面と接触し、前記第2の移動基材が、第2の裏ロールの表面と接触し、前記第1の流体送達出口が、前記第1の裏ロールの表面と略一致する弓形形状を備え、前記第2の流体送達出口が、前記第2の裏ロールの表面と略一致する弓形形状を備える、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の移動基材の前記第1の表面及び前記第2の移動基材の前記第1の表面を互いに接触させることを更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
